I can see the Future... Destiny 3 (2020) D3 (Year one) : Season 1: Reforging the Past. Kill a bunch of shit to get this thing that drops, take it to someone on the tower to start a quest line that involves killing more shit and collecting that shit and then doing a bunch of strikes that accrue % towards the quest completion, once that is done start quest 2, which is almost the same as quest 1 but different because now it involves killing the same shit in the same fashion but with different elemental weapons. Fast forward a couple of rinse and repeats later you get the "Device" that enables you to upload a recently deceased characters old conciseness into a new Exo body by completing 200 Forges D3 : Season 2: Revenge Join the newly resurrected Exo in a quest to hunt down his killer on the dreaming city. Collect clues as you kill x amount of enemies, but make sure to visit spider first as he has a bounty for you that will send you back in time to kill the re skinned Barons again, (zombie skins because of *enter shadowkeep plot*). Doing this triggers an emotional reaction from the very emotionally unstable emotional awoken and he resurfaces only to be dealt with in a non conflict-able way. D3 : Season 3: Drifting Away.
