I'm not talking guided games, something I can't use because of my set up, no, I mean easy match making.
It's long overdue and doesn't effect the hardcore players.
There are so many things that have made me dislike this game, this is one of them. This and those who are against match making for everything, I dislike you guys too.
PS: I love how quick everyone hit that down vote button, I expected no less. Top notice people playing this game.. lol
PPS: It would be so easy to add match making and have a disclaimer, "This is going to be hard with randoms, play at your own risk." Easy...

PPPS: Why don't video embed anymore? I'm doing something wrong I suspect.
PPPPS: In the long run it's not going to matter, Bungie won't change it's ways and neither will the players. So I guess it's time to move on.
PPPPPS: Alright, I give up. I can't reach any of you, keep your stupid game your stupid way... Pointless.
PPPPPPS: Not only all of this but the game in general has gotten soooo confusing, with all you need to level up, some things I have NO idea how to do, it has tracking but many of the task don't track, it's become a convoluted mess.
PPPPPPPS: and I'm done.

I think they should add optional in game matchmaking for everything but the raids. So nightfalls and the missions for Outbreak and Whisper. Mics would definitely help those 3 things, but aren't completely mandatory, imo. But not for raids. Raids require both good communication and a shared understanding that getting the mechanics down can be slow and difficult for some. Plus having to go out of game to get a group, helps ensure people stick with it. If raids had matchmaking, then I think too many people would play until a certain check point and then leave the other 5 people high and dry. The only way to combat that would to be, to remove check points. And that sounds horrible to me.

3 RespuestasOr you could just learn to use LFG

Match making should be on all but challenge mode. Base/story/normal: yes, add match making. Hard/challenge: NO, this is a challenge mode for a reason.

8 RespuestasEditado por DHawk12: 6/20/2019 2:41:34 AMHaving a matchmaking option for raids would be ok (more options is always better) but the success rate would be extremely low and players will quickly find out that they are just wasting time. I also dont see a way for bungie to allow modifiers with nightfall matchmaking.

4 RespuestasYou don't know what a dead game is until you've played Defiance. I saw an article today that said there are over a million daily players on D2 so I don't know what the hell you're smoking.

As long as it’s optional and not forced then I’m fine with it like how comp is right now. You can either take a team or load up into matchmaking.

1 RespuestaEverything should have matchmaking, at a base difficulty. Then have the difficulty get harder, and more rewarding and require a fireteam. There is no reason why solely story content should require a pre-made fireteam. This is why only 10% of the playerbase even participates in Raids, and it's a real shame that most of them don't even appreciate the Raid which also blatantly restricts players from experiencing. Who cares about loot. Loot doesn't make Raids, and mechanics don't make Raids. All that work put into this one activity, and it's plagued by complaints of people not getting what they want, with no appreciation whatsoever. 50+ clears and they complain and then there are those without any clears who just want the experience.

25 RespuestasYeah, the game can do just fine without matchmaking in everything. It’s thrived most in a PvP playlist that required fireteams, and one of the best rated activities are 6 man raids.

You'll be told how to find clans, use elitist lfg and other forms of fireteam finders, and that you're casual trash. 7 RespuestasMatchmaking would not work for a raid. Some other things I could get on board with but the not the raid. I am a casual gamer and have not done every raid but I even realize this. It would be a nightmare and never work.

3 RespuestasBots are already rampant in PC because imperials and runes can drop from random activities. Before they implement matchmaking for everything they need a better system for the fireteam to vote to kick someone.

5 RespuestasThe player numbers are up right now.

Then it’s averaging 6 million monthly active users (information from Activision Conference Call) I’ll comment on your other point: I’m not opposed to matchmaking in raids anymore. Given people should understand that you will most likely have a lot of complications with it. But hopefully it will make Endgame more inviting to other people.

7 RespuestasI was thinking the same until I ran my first raid the other day. One of my clans sherpas took me and a few others through Leviathan. Im only going to say one thing, the gauntlet will be impossible to do with randoms. The guy with no mic, the guy that doesnt pay attention and doesnt punch the psion, shoot the arrows. Sorry but it aint gonna work for raids. Lfg is as good as it gets. Every1 needs to be on the mic and communicate and carry their own weight. If there was matchmaking for raids most of the people going in there will be looking for a carry and D2 raids encounters are not very carry friendly.

3 RespuestasScrub, join a clan. Then you shouldn’t need matchmaking.
