Kindly make a third person mode for this game or Destiny 3
The game is a blast to play, but when running in social spaces, makes the game much better. If this game had third person it would have been amazing.
Currently there is no sense of reward of badassness as the the player is constantly staring at guns, the game boasts a plethora of well designed armor and its extremely sad that one cannot enjoy them while fighting.
Looking at other players and seeing their armor is not at all rewarding. I get it Bungie is a pioneer in FPS but why not give players third person at least in PVE?
You guys already allow third person with swords and skills and suddenly when the view is gone, it feels like a lose of agency. Bungie talks about being in control, responsiveness, but I don't see how these sudden transitions are giving any of these emotions.
Please Bungie, if not in D2 at least in D3 please make a fully fledged third person mode, including over the shoulder with ADS, like in The Division 2 and Anthem.
Looter shooters need to be in third person especially games like Destiny where you have a huge fantasy world with superb visuals and art work in Armors and equipment.
Please consider this feedback Bungie, third person will make this game way too good and top notch.

2 RespuestasI think having this option to change between would be cool, the assets exist for this already. Ie third person in tower. And swords in game make you go third person so not a stretch for this. Just use the assets from the sword and input as a switch in options, the only slight work would he switching between hip fire and aiming, but i presume assets exist there too.

I would like third person mode for destiny 2. I think it would be fun but make it so you can turn it on and off.

The only activities or mechanics that are 3rd person are emotes, swords, and Supers that don't involve shoot G a weapon (GG is in 1st person). This is not Fortnite This is not The Division This is not Anthem If you want a 3rd person "shooter" there are plenty out there for you.

No way, that would ruin the game completely, it’s fine how it is, although they are adding in the slo motion third person view of a finishing move in next expansion which is a nice touch, but gun fights from third person option is not this game

6 Respuestasyou should try out BL, BL2 and soon BL3 - third person looter shooter is probably right up your alley. as this is a First Person Shooter - I like starting down the barrel of my gun in use.

Um, it's a first person shooter. The entire gunplay system is based on that and wouldn't work at all in third person. Plenty of other third person games out there, no way it could ever happen with this one.

This would be great for PVE. There were third person glitches in D1 and it looked great.

2 RespuestasWhile I can understand the thoughts of others who wish to keep Destiny a first person perspective game, I too would also like to see Destiny become third person. What's the point of having all that good looking armor if you can't even see it in the game 100% of the time (i.e. when you're not using a sword or casting a super)?

3rd person isnt competive.... I dont wanna play russin roulette with my accuracy.... I want the bullets to go where I shot them... also looking around walls constantly would be cancer..... no one cares what there armor looks like..... and you can just use a sword for 3rd person

I would argue to make swords first person. But the struggle in the that are the animations our guardian uses when attacking multiple times
