Look out for the Chicken Necromancer

Man I’d love to play that game for the first time again.

When mining ore, swing your pickaxe like you're attacking so you don't have to sit through the animation. Also dual wielding pickaxes while doing this will give you double the ore. If you've gone to Blackreach you should have seen this giant light hanging from the ceiling in the center of the area. When you Fus Ro Dah the light, a chest will appear next to you with 20,000 gold in it. It's good for players in desperate need of gold.

In all seriousness, Skyrim is a very fun game. Some tips: [spoiler] Get Faendel (the wood elf archer) as a follower. You can find him in Riverwood and recruit him after solving the love dispute between him, Sven, and Camille. You can do this by either talking to Faendel and giving the letter to Camille, saying it’s from Sven, it by talking to Sven first, and telling her Sven wanted to trick her. There is an exploit with Faendel, where he can train you in Archery, then you can request to trade some things, and take your gold back. This way, so long as you have at least around 700 gold, you can raise your Archery skill to 50 for free. Oh! And you can only raise it 5 times per level. [/spoiler] [spoiler] Don’t get Lydia! She has crap stealth and a crap A.I. It has become a running joke just how stupid she is. She does more harm than good. [/spoiler] [spoiler] You can have infinite carry weight if you have a follower. Just drop the item, tell your follower to do something, and direct them to pick up the item. And bam! The item is now in their inventory, regardless of their carry weight. This way, you can pick up all the dragon bones and warhammers you come across on your adventure. [/spoiler] [spoiler] You can talk to the Greybeards to learn the location of a word of Power. [/spoiler] If you enjoy being a fire mage, there is the College of Winterhold, which contains masters of the schools, every spell under the sun, and tons of mage gear. [spoiler] You can instantly fast travel to any hold capital, like Winterhold, by talking to the carriage man by the stables of any hold capital and taking a ride for 20-50 gold. [/spoiler] You can start the quest to get into the Dark Brotherhood by talking to the boy in the locked house in Windhelm who is doing the sacrament. Talk around town to learn of the boy and his location. Once you complete his quest, sleep in an inn, like the Bannered Mare in Whiterun. You can actually kill the leader of the Dark Brotherhood and report to a guard to gain 25,000 gold or something, but that would be missing out on all the cool gear and gold you get from the Brotherhood. You can start the quest to get into the Thieves’ Guild by talking to Brynolf in Riften in the market during the day. [/spoiler] [spoiler] If you get this far and find Hermaeus Mora’s book after completing Septimus Signups’ quest, you can spam the read button to use it multiple times. Each use increases all the skills of one of the categories (combat, thief, mage) by 5. My record is 5 uses, increasing all my thief skills (light armor, stealth, pickpocket, lockpicking, speech, and alchemy) by 25. [/spoiler] [spoiler] There’s the Bard’s College in Solitude. Haven’t personally gone there yet, though. [/spoiler] [spoiler] If you find the Souk Trap spell available to buy, GET IT!!! Using it on someone makes them fill a soul gem when they die. The stronger the monster, the bigger the soul, and the bigger the required soul gem. Humans have grand souls. Using soul gems, you can enchant your gear, giving it cool effects. Also, enchanted gear sells for a LOT more. It can turn a 30 value silver ring into a 90 value, tripling its sell value. [/spoiler] [spoiler]When you get into LATE game, there is a trick to get armor with hundreds of protection, and weapons with hundreds of damage. You can create a potion of Enchanting, which will make your enchantments stronger. Then you can enchant your gear with alchemy enchantments, making your potions stronger. Then you can make a potion of Enchanting with the gear, making a more powerful enchantments, which you can use to create armor that even further enhances your potions, which you can use to create another potion of enchanting, etc. Once you’ve done it a bunch, you can make a potion of smithing and gear enchanted with smithing enchantments. Then, when you equip the gear, drink the potion, forge the item, and improve it, you will have God armor.[/spoiler] [spoiler]You can duplicate arrows by giving your follower an arrow. He/she will use the best arrow available, but won’t consume it. However, they will fire that type of arrow if they have a bow, and you can pick up the arrows off of corpses. You can also pick the pocket of one of the Solitude guards training with bows and place the arrow inside. Then, the guard will fire that type of arrow, and you can pick the arrows off of the target. Played it day 1 on 11/11/2011 git gud. [spoiler]I can't remember much tbh. Can't think of any specific quest. But I remember collecting those 9 masks from those 9 priests. And my love, Lydia, who I accidentally fus ro dah-ed off Mount Hrothgar (probably wrong name) and never saw her again. 😭[/spoiler]

There's something darkly satisfying with sneaking into a bandit cave and taking them out one by one...and they never raise the alarm.
