He said bungie and the players who play destiny.
Really?
Seems like we just get ignored

12 RespuestasI laughed each time they said "us and the players". Feel more like them and the stream queen ditto or whatever it's name is.

6 RespuestasNo, they ignore screaming that comes from petulant children. Which means ignoring these forums.

1 RespuestaI stopped watching right when he said that, felt like I was watching someone run for office.

3 RespuestasLuna’s nerf, nova warp nerf, spectral nerf, telesto nerf, wormhusk nerf, OEM nerf, BB nerf, nova warp buff, returning exotics and even some legendaries. Just a few things that have happed as a result of these forums.

7 RespuestasI just find it disingenuous for Smith to talk about friends and relationships knowing that no one misses playing with their friends because they switch platforms. Surely he must know that if people aren’t playing destiny with their friends, they can still see them on their friends lists. “Oh wait, what? You mean I should’ve been playing destiny on Steam all this time? Guys, guys, wait for me!” Don’t get me wrong. People that covet cross saving deserve to get it, I suppose. I don’t care either way, but don’t wrap it in some lovey-dovey friendship bracelet. That part of Destiny’s community died before D1 even finished. “Where your friends are.” Ha! Our friends are playing other games! How about fixing that instead of lying to us while looking right over us!

3 RespuestasI feel burnt time and time again by Bungie. This time I’m speaking with my wallet. I will not be preordering or purchasing within the first month at the very least. This annual pass was a joke. Level up by doing the same exact stuff 3 separate times. Throttling the power level gains, excessive RNG to extend play time, nerf everything when they said they were going to buff instead of nerf, the xp throttling they got caught with, more items in eververse each season than anywhere else in the game. They’ve lost my respect and it will need to take some drastic turns for me to give them another shot.

4 RespuestasOnly 1 thing decides Destiny's future .... How little Bungie can do & still stick a price tag on it.
-
13 RespuestasI don’t get you people. First you praise Bungie for listening when the Go Fast Update and Forsaken dropped. But when something doesn’t go your way, you complain about not being listened to.
-
Bungie tends to pay more attention to the Reddit forum. When the opinions there reflects what is also voiced here, we see results. Eventually.

55 RespuestasThe arbalest you have in your kinetic slot? Its only there because of player feedback Your super doesn't take 8 minutes to recharge? Player feedback Your abilities don't take 2 minutes each to recharge? Player feedback Those pinnacle bounties that are tied to the account and not per character? Player feedback The gunsmith bounties that drop cores? While not exactly what the player base wants they exist because of.... You guessed it. Player feedback. The chalice of opulence design? Player feedback There's quite a bit that's been done in response to player feedback. If you choose to ignore it, or if you're too blinded by over the top vitriol. Maybe this isn't, and never will be the game for you.

I bust out laughing when I that man said that. I was thinking to myself "Yeah right, what about the majority of the players that are against the recent exotic nerfs".
-
They arent miracle workers they can only do so much forsaken was a big leap and now theyre doing more of what we have asked
-
1 RespuestaJust because they don't cater to our every complaint, does not mean we are not what makes destiny what it is. On these forums you can definitely tell who played D1 or didn't. Under all the toxicity and behind all the unintelligent salt lords is an amazing community.
-
2 RespuestasWhen they say "players" they mean "streamers". I have 1600 hours in the game (more than some streamers) and I've never once been asked what I wanted in the game.
-
Replace "players" with "streamers"

6 RespuestasEditado por bjw: 6/7/2019 5:41:36 PMI have been an avid fan of Bungie through good and bad. I still played even when My friends gave me grief over it. I like Destiny. I may not agree with everything Bungie does. I have the right to voice that (as I have many times and Bungie slowly fixed those issues) as everyone else does. “In a respectful and non disdainful way”. But it’s my and others right to play what we want and not care what others hate on. After playing constantly since 2014 I can say I had to lay down Destiny and just take a break. I haven’t played since January ‘19. I was getting to emotional about the decisions that were being made. Overall had to take a break from gaming completely. But after the announcement of going independent. I do believe Bungie is trying. Bad decisions were made with good intentions. Destiny is a big ship. You can’t turn a ship fast or it’ll tip over. You have to slowly turn it. That being said. I’m happy to hear that Bungie is maybe realizing their mistakes that took a toll on themselves and there fans overall. I don’t expect to have things change overnight. It’ll take time I think with the September release. It seems Bungie is attempting to go back and right some wrongs by soft rebooting without actually rebooting it all over. Refocusing on what and why they and us fell in love with developing and playing a game like Destiny. Bungie as a hole might be Recalibrating in a way that feels natural. Yes changes and growing pains are uncomfortable. We live in a time that most want everything microwaved. This won’t happen. It will take time. Yes, it’s been coming on 5 years and Will have to wait and see but that’s what it feels like as of right now.
-
16 RespuestasI dont think that but i also can give the devs slack for 2 reasons; 1. It takes time to make changes without carelessly throwing them out 2. Its hard to see what they see when looking at the game, they have more tools to view the game but also know where the game itself is headed.
-
1 RespuestaMaybe if these forums would do something other than shit all over them they’d be more inclined to listen

22 RespuestasEditado por Solid_Psycho_guy: 6/7/2019 7:54:13 AMOfcourse they are just ignoring us Not like we got bad juju back Not like we got destiny 1 pvp maps back Not like we got moon back Not like we got swords buffed Not like we got Discipline, Intellect and Strength Not like we got runes back Not like we got new dungeons Not like we got more information about Eris Morn Not like we got a cool sniper revolver exotic and no time to explain Not like we got elimination gamemode Not like we are 3 months away from new dlc and bungie can buff more weapons So? What is your problem right now? Eververse? If it is you are a dumb dumb
-
19 RespuestasBased on what I saw yesterday, we were ignored because Bungie was already in the process of designing many of the things angering us out of the game.
-
2 RespuestasEditado por Andy-ALAW BEEP-BEEP: 6/7/2019 1:26:38 PMWhen 99% of posts here are -blam!- you bungie suck a dick and fire a developer you will get ignored
-
Can I buy some narcotics from you? 🥴🥴
-
1 RespuestaThe video game market will also affect Destiny's future, they're lucky no other developer has managed to hit a home run yet our they'd already be in trouble.
-
33 RespuestasSaw that. By players, they mean elected streamers
-
That stuck out for me, too. I took it to mean that they don't listen to those on the boards who are no longer playing and pay special attention to those who play a lot, which would seem to enhance streamer input. That was my takeaway from that line.
