Thats so subjective.
I love the prime armor. The latest iron banner armor is awesome and for my titan is epic. Even the revelry stuff was cool.
There is a ton of awesome armor in D2.

But is the armor in D2 better aesthetically ?
-
Its subjective and case by case. I think there were amazing pieces and sets on d1. I think there are amazing pieces and sets in d2.
-
I would use 10% of the pieces in D2 and 90% in D1. There is a better variety that caters to a broader scope of tastes in D1. The armor also encapsulates the essence of each class. The flayers mantles, maul's maulers and omnigul's bonds are perfect examples of this. The design theory they had for D1 is that each class would have an armor to cloth proportion. Hunters would be 40/60, titans 80/20 and warlocks 20/80 This worked to varying degrees. But it allowed each class to have a definitive personality to them.

I think you have rose tinted glasses. There were so many hideous armor pieces in d1. Warlocks and dresses. Titans had even larger shoulder pads. I dunno. I think D2 has some really cool sets. Many of them mesh well with others too which creates a nice variety.

Editado por Nana: 6/3/2019 6:47:33 AMI think you fan boy too hard. There was far more variety. D1 could please anyone with different sets but d2 is all the same trash.
-
How do you figure that? Each raid, faction, and activity has a set for each class. Maybe at the end of D1 after everyone spent 3 years complaining did we finally have more gear.
-
Btw your warlock is hideous
-
My warlock looks awesome! So does my titan. But, Im a fan of this gear.
-
Lol... thanks! Lemme go see, his mom didnt dress him today.

D1 raid sets were all unique and amazing trials look great literally everything. In D2 my hunter has been ugly since launch. I and MANY people haven’t found anything we like. Just because you have doesn’t mean everyone should. D1 has so many different and unique sets there was at least one that someone would like. D2 is the same ugly dog shit.
-
Like I said, its subjective. I hated the trials gear from d1. The one thing that has nothing to do with aesthetics is the lack of intrinsic perks on armor and weapons. Sure, mods can be applied. But, Im talking about perks that come preapplied and work in the raid. That is where they really went wrong, strictly in terms of raid gear. We all know they have messed up a whole bunch of other crap.
-
Damn. And the trials was my favorite. Subjective indeed....but that's obvious. Really shouldn't have to make a post about it. Common sense should prevail in these situations.

I'd take any D1 raid armor or iron banner armor over the D2 versions of said armor. You are right about mix matching armor sets in D2 looks better than D1.
