No new maps, no new modes, barely any new Crucible vendor weapons, same old Iron Banner weapons, and two of the pinnacle weapons are getting nerfed (and, if we’re being real, all of them will get nerfed eventually ... after all, this is Bungie we’re talking about).
I really hope they have something — anything — substantial for PvP players in Opulence.
But somehow, I doubt they will.

I’d say 85% of this entire game has been a rip, from day 1.
-
3 RespuestasAnnual pass has been a ripoff for everybody, not just PvP players
-
8 RespuestasCozmo mentioned on Reddit that a lot of changes and additions are coming to crucible this summer. I’m assuming it’ll be announced a month after this new season. Mid July or early August. I don’t play crucible much or not at all at times but I sure hope you all get something exciting 🤞🏻❤️

I still really question the future of pvp in Destiny. I still think their "evolution" might involve evolving into something most of us don't care for. That is their usual pattern at any rate.
-
i did not buy it because it offered nothing for pvp.
-
11 RespuestasI'm with Lono/SayNoToRage on this one. I think Bungie is slowly phasing the notion of hardcore, competitive PVP out of the game....and I think they are laying the groundwork for a major redesign of PVP in this game.
-
Didn't they state a while ago that all pvp content was going to be free anyway and not tied to the annual pass? I mean they've not actually released anything but if you bought the pass for pvp content that's your issue.
-
1 RespuestaBungie described at release that the annual pass would be mini content drops with a focus on expanding endgame and power level stuff. Meaning: no new strikes, crucible maps, story missions, etc. I’m pretty sure they said that too
-
4 RespuestasYour point? From the start bungie has said. ANNUAL PASS ADDS SMALL STUFF TO THE DLC CONTENT. That means no PvP stuff.
-
2 RespuestasI guess they thought gambit would appeal to both camps and keep them happy. I don't mind gambit but I definitely would have hoped for more pvp maps and modes plus more strikes.
-
2 RespuestasIt would have only been a RIP off, if they had advertised the annual pass having those things you listed, and then not provided them. They didn't. The roadmap never showed new pvp maps. It only showed a change to Iron Banner, which they gave us.
-
Yes but pve players would complain because they need to get gud now. Lul
-
12 RespuestasThis is probably an unpopular opinion, but I'd like to see a season of crucible. New modes, crucible lore, Shaxx-infused story... Kinda like what they did with the bounties and Drifter. A lot of people will most likely hate it, but hey, a lot hated season of the drifter too.
-
Some of the annual pass weapons are pretty good pvp weapons.
-
For pvp players the whole game is a rip off, seriously any other games pvp is better
-
-
1 RespuestaCompletely understandable. And that's coming from a player who doesn't care for PvP and has yet to ever set foot in a Gambit match. If anything, there are silver linings; PvP players have the best pinnacle weapons, hands down. Even after the nerfs, I'll bet LH, NF, and Recluse still embarrass the crap out of Loaded Question and Oxygen 😝
-
1 RespuestaYup it’s like they want half of us to leave...
-
Agreed. Can’t believe Trials, a game mode touted as part of the base game that we paid for, was taken away. It’s like buying Microsoft Office for them to take away Word a year later and be like, “ It’s cool. You still have power point.”
-
22 RespuestasPvP is a tiny addition to this game Far from its main purpose Mistake making this game your main if PvP is your base
-
1 RespuestaThere really is no excuse for there to be no new PvP content for almost a year now.
-
3 RespuestasThe Annual Pass has been a ripoff for both PvE and PvP players The only ones that got any value from it were the youtubers/streamers and that's why this game is being shaped to them.
-
Yep, forges suck, gambit sucks, that's why my playtime has dramatically decreased - it's boring.
-
4 RespuestasAnd when did Bungie say the annual pass, "would," have pvp maps or modes? Pretty sure I don't remember it in any TWAB, or on the roadmap.
-
Editado por NerdslayerNo1: 5/26/2019 9:35:06 AMI never bought it specifically because it had nothing interesting to offer me as a primarily pvp player. I don't preorder games or buy most things without having a good idea what i'm paying for so i took a wait and see approach and i haven't seen anything. i've bought very few games on launch day. I usually wait. I did buy forsaken at launch but nothing else in destiny.
