Did Anyone Really Want the Skull of Dire Ahamkara Nerfed?
Seriously, Bungie, WTF? At least leave it alone for PVE, It made me fall in love with Nova Bomb all over again.

I dont want to be nerfed and people that think it needs to be isnt thinking if you nerf skull of dire ahamkara and phoenix protocol what exotic warlock will use all the other exotics are a piece of shit and now that I see how the nerf affected the exotic I must say that is now a piece of shit so thank you bungie for killing all good warlock exotics and made him now the worst class in the game you just killed destiny for me cause the exotic wasnt so op for one simple reason that is you have to kill a lot of enemies to regain your ultimate and now if you kill 10 or 15 enemies you get less than 1/4 of ultimate so there is no reason to use it and there is no reason to use any warlock exotic cause even the new warlock armor piece is a piece of shit and people that think it should be nerfed I hope you all are main warlocks cause the best thing to do now is delete this class

As much as I hate to say it and this will be very unpopular as a post...... It turned everything into easy mode. Same with whisper, same with Orpheus rigs. IF they do it right it won’t matter and supers and orbs will still feed supers instantly anyway.

To be honest, I didn't think it was a very good exotic in the first place. it's not like the Skull is passively charging a second super over time. You have to use it in a specific way in order to get close to a second super, and that usually involves killing a ton of weak enemies, those of which you probably could have picked off easily with your primary/special guns anyway. Other than saving you a little time clearing adds, I don't see a big enough reason to make this a must-have on my warlock. But then again what do I know, I'm a Titan main...

The big problem with this nerf, every other super in the game is a roaming super. This is a one and done super, you throw it if you miss you get nothing but a wait, all of the other supers (aside frome blade barrage) you can chase your enemy, and kill others on the way. I really think there is just a problem with void warlocks in general and nobody wants them to be powerful.

Sounds to me that they forgot what they wanted their game to be and got caught up in something that seemed like a good thing because the feature they want you to lean on isn't actually well designed. In other words teamwork in this game isn't natural and it is painfully obvious when with randoms and exotics got developed to bypass it. You would think that they would either fix the issue directly or make exotics that emphasize that aspect more. Say instead of feeding super energy to the user it goes to teammates so they can make orbs and the cycle can continue if they work properly. I don't disagree with bungies desires for how the game is meant to be but the methods they take are often half hearted.

1 RespuestaDoesn’t matter what we “ask for”. The Skull is giving us our super back for Nova bombing 3-5 enemies in pve. It needed to be scaled back.

Trivialized the game a bit too much and made every other exotic in PVE not worth using. There is a reason most Warlocks you see are wearing it in PVE. And when one exotic is dominating player usage, it’s not good for the health of the game. Thing needed to be toned down a bit. It was fun while it lasted.

People need to stop equating Powerful with Broken. FFS, it's a Power Fantasy GAME. For those decrying that it's a looter. Well,yeah, but the loot becomes trash, too - You find and use nothing but slingshots. Then one day you happen upon a glorious new weapon - the fabled wrist rocket. Oh man, gonna do some damage with this - let the fun begin!! Then Bungie comes around when you're not looking and swaps out the high tension elasticized tubing with an office store rubber band. Wow - now it's just another slingshot, just with a now unnecessary oversized braced grip.

9 RespuestasAs a community, we need to accept these changes. Bungie haven't done this just to piss people off. There's quite a lot of secret stuff coming next season, I'm going to bet that these changes are being made so that the pve content (new 6 player match made activity), plus probably more are going to be meaningful experiences. Imagine a hoard mode where you can just stay in a well and just throw nova's and tethers all day.

It needed to be nerfed in PVE. It wasn't over powered in PVP and if you actually take a few minutes and think about the nerfs to Skull, it fairly broken in PVE.

People were complaining that ursa and shards were getting touched but not the skull, so yes people were complaining about it.

OH OH I KNOW, maybe go punch some things with Winters Guile, that sounds fun. Better yet, let me mark some things so I can see them through walls with my BESTIE Sanguine Alchemy!!
