And yes I know Year 1 Destiny 2 had ornaments, Bungie stopped that and for what reason?

6 RespuestasI feel like the Y1 Ornaments should carry over to their Y2 counterparts. Example, a Y1 Vanguard Helmet Ornament should be applicable for Y2 Vanguard Helmet.

1 RespuestaI loved going for the ornaments for Vanguard and Crucible back in year 1, I’d do them again for better looking armor than what we’ve got now. Absolutely.
-
1 RespuestaAs long as they arent just recolors that arent noticeable once you've put a shader on it. Hell yeah.
-
2 RespuestasNo clue why they stopped. It would help clear vault space for collectors since the only difference between most armor is the appearance. Give me more to play for in crucible too. A few matches in Iron Banner is all it takes to have everything from a season. That’s IF you didn’t already get everything by claiming the 15 packages for the triumph each season.

I still want ornaments for the iron banner armor including all armor looks from D1 and D2Y1.

5 RespuestasNot a fan of ornaments. I see it as a lack of making new and more creative armor
-
It’s most likely a technical issue where ornaments appear as a second piece of armor in the database.

1 RespuestaEditado por Swiftchao: 5/14/2019 4:59:51 AMThey did it before don't see why they stopped it was a great idea and I wish the gambit prime armor was ornament based instead of being separate armors it seemed like the reasonable implementation of it due to limited vault space especially since it only changes it's color so it's basically reusing armor
-
So should banner. I don't need a completely new set, every season, that I don't get time to grind, so end up with rolls that I'm not as fussed about and a vault with 9 sets of armour in..... season one I lived in banner armour as could switch between 3 different looks whenever I liked. Ornaments being removed was just another way to artificially extend the grind without creating new content

Well they did have but Bungie got lazy
-
Only if the base sets get to look good too.

1 RespuestaI don't understand why they stopped doing this. It gave you another reason to play each season by having challenges to change your armor then bungie just stopped.
-
1 RespuestaThey did in yr 1
-
1 RespuestaThey used too

I’d rather have ornaments for armor. Even at the expense of vault space.

It deffinately makes the daily grind more meaningful
