Outbreak Perfected Quest and why bungie should never listen to the forums
Forums: Bungo we want more PvE exotics that don’t require crucible and more quests like the whisper quest or shattered throne. Also stop handing stuff out for free.
Bungie: Sure, here’s another PvE only exotic quest like the Whisper one.
Forums: -blam!-n Bungo man when will they make something for me specifically? I hate everything that this game does. Also d1 was better.
Just a few weeks ago I recall a number of posts about how there was nothing to work for on the PvE side of things anymore. Now that there is, the response is mostly that people don’t want to work for outbreak prime. Despite it being possible to finish even the heroic version of the mission with 2:30 on the clock. (I and my fireteam of randos with no coms did on our 4th attempt to get the catalyst)
This forum has no idea what it wants, it only wants to complain.

Perhaps some are lazy, some are bad at the game but others like myself are tired of Timers and Time Gated Quests. We’ve had our fair share of both already in D2. Maybe we want Bungie to step up their Dev Game and be creative. You know like how the tonics in Revelry provided different play because of the enhancements. We want the game to improve. We’re not happy with the same ole same ole. Something for you to consider.

Yes they do, they want a game that is catered exactly to them. Read the forums, it's all the same people,complaining about everything. Master work cores Crucible Exotics Etc. Etc. They think their a majority, because they get 500-1000 responses. 99% of the player base doesn't care about anything said on the forums. Don't worry though, they will make a post saying Burnie doesn't listen to them. Even though most changes in this game are dictated by a minority.

1 RespuestaI actually enjoyed the quest. It didn't take too long - one evening with my clan. I was able to do the Arbalest quest in one night too at the beginning of the Revelry. The OP mission was fun - and part of the fun was learning the route to the end boss fight, determining which weapons worked best, and which guardian/supers/armor helped most. It was the same thing with the Whisper of the Worm mission/quest.

Additionally, this forum is going to see more activity from disgruntled players than players who are content.

That’s because everyone has different opinions, but it’s only when shit happens do the people on the other side actually voice them and they get on trending. For the longest time on trending there was always shit about wanting old weapons back, I see it constantly. However, when Outbreak Perfected was released, every comment I saw was people saying “stop bringing back old weapons, make new weapons”. Honestly, it comes down to when shit happens is when you see different sides finally getting more attention, but the community as a whole isn’t on the same page, the same people complaining about old weapons coming back aren’t the same as those who want old weapons back.
