Bravo Bungie on the Outbreak mission!
After 5 hours of trying we finally got both the Outbreak Perfected + Catalyst.
For once we had to actually be sweaties for a PVE activity.
More of this stuff please!

10 RespuestasWish I had the motivation for the Catalyst. I just see all Catalyst as meaningless. It's not this amazing mission people make it out to be but it's decent glad there was something actually somewhat worth doing for once.

1 RespuestaEveryone enjoy it while they can tbh. We already know if there's a worthwhile exotic in the game, it's gonna get shit on.. Everyone took the power fantasy for granted in D1, and now we're here.

Grats, we got the weapon but couldn't quite get the heroic done before I needed to sleep. Will attack it at the weekend :D The timer is fine, although I do think they should have put the add killing section towards the end, so that you can practice the route/parkour bit first All in all, not quite as good as whisper imo, but a solid effort 👍

It’s the only reason I’m going to jump back on! Wish bungie would do this more, very clever on their part to pull back players to play. I’m sure I’ll do the quest , check out the gun then stop playing again .

Bravo for what? More low effort “secret” missions for destiny 1 loot I already had? If this wasn’t in the game righ now there would be nothing left for players to do over the next four weeks of the season.

Jump challenges and puzzles with timer. 2. Make the enemies significantly harder than they already are and keep the timer. While some of us may prefer option 2, the moment they did that there would be far more complaining than now. Without a timer, any mission can essentially be cheesed and if the enemies were truly difficult and powerful, it's success rate would be even lower than it is now. At least with option 1 Bungie was able to introduce catch up mechanics in the form of switches to allow players who fell behind in jumping puzzles to keep up. This mission is much more player friendly than the Whisper mission in that aspect. I think we should all just appreciate what this mission is: challenging content. And let's be honest, this game needs just that.

6 RespuestasAs long as they can manage to replace all the weak jumping puzzles for actual combat. This is a FPS game not Tomb Raider. This jumping puzzle that they have stuck with since Destiny 1 is getting really boring and just proves how lazy the developers REALLY are. One lets bring back old exotics cause we are to stupid to create new ones and while we are at it instead of making challenging fights lets use jumping puzzles cause that saves time.
