I step through the portal and exit behind him striking him with the end of my bladed staff.

*He creates an ax out of fire and blocks your attack before throwing it at you*

Is the axe made only out of fire? If so I open a portal that pours carbon dioxide on the field snuffing out the axe. If not, I'm just gonna teleport to the side.

It’s magic fire. *He calls his sword back and stands facing you*

I can't hit you and you can't hit me funny. How about I change that. I say as I charge at him imbued with astral energy.

*He throws his sword away and stands facing you with his fists*
-
I continue my charge and raise a sword seething and pulsing with astral energy.

*His sword comes back with an EMP. He activated it*

Acting as if I have nothing to lose I keep charging, as i reach him, I raise my sword for a massive attack.

*He raises his sword up to block it* [spoiler]All your magic is powered by technology, right?[/spoiler]

*His sword regrows and he swings it at you while you are still tired*

The blade wishes and my body dematerializes, balthazar was tricked by an astral reflection of myself. I stab him from behind with a divine artifact after emerging from seemingly nowhere.

*Your blade gets stuck in his armor*

As it is stuck in the armor I smile and cause an eruption of astral energy from the artifact.

*The armor absorbs it and blasts it back at you* [spoiler]And don’t pretend you can dodge this.[/spoiler]

I am blasted back and injured by the explosion, but enter the astral realm before hitting anything else. I channel astral energy for later.

*Balthazar covers the field around him in fire for when you come back*

After reemerging, I blast balthazar with a beam of pure astral energy meant to shake him to his very soul. [spoiler]he can tank this, but I'm gonna guess he can't dodge it since I charged it for like 20 minutes.[/spoiler]

*He counters with a giant laser thing of his own, but yours is slowly overpowering his*

I call upon my astral guide to empower my beam increasing the speed of my beam overpowering his.

*It creates a giant explosion, sending him flying backwards*
-
I open a portal behind him that leads deep into an unknown space and close it as balthazar is sent into the void.
-
*A portal appears behind you and Balthazar comes flying out, slamming his sword through your torso*
-
Before the blade connects, I teleport away from his powerful attack.
