Content updates have become scarce and when they arrive they are meh (Revelry, Season of the Drifter, Curse of Osiris). Bungo needs a game that has content updates that last a little bit longer but say a week or 2 after it has ended another drops. Personally I went from playing Destiny 1 5-6 hours a day on the weekends, Destiny 2 in the beginning 2-3 now I barely only play it for 2 hours. To be honest I would rather play Fortnite right now instead of D2. Increasing the power level makes me want to grind less and less for max power because every single other season I have hit max 2-3 days before the next expansion and thus a power increase. I think that the community just wants a game that has content updates that are around for longer (but don't Destroy the game for 3 weeks (Revelry)) and ones that are good and hold our attention. D1 was a constant grabber at attention and I din't know why. I started playing it a week after TTK and on Xbone 360 I had about 300-350 hours before I got an Xbone 1 in mid Febuary, then I have about another 400 hours on D1 before life and school actually started to matter. Bungo should get their act together and take feedback and improvement requests from the community.

3 RespuestasDestiny is fine. It's destiny 2 that sucks ass.

2 RespuestasWell, what needs to happen and what is actually going to happen are 2 totally different things. Long story short, Bungie does not have enough manpower working on D2 to give it the attention it actually needs. Some might not like what I'm about to say but Oh well. I bought D2 for this company to work on D2 knowing they said they would before D2 released. Their effort has been minimal at best for the size of a game it actually is. (It's not the devs fault that is left stuck with more work then they will ever be able to handle.) It's the higher-up's fault period. I didn't pay Bungie to work on their new IP but it seems that is what I am paying for them to do with the manpower while they have what's left over working on D2 and it is nowhere near enough. Unless I missed something I didn't see I was going to be paying Bungie to work on a new IP on the cover of D2 when I bought it.

A dull game.. Then get out more and enjoy life. Games are not a chore.

D1 I got like 80 days. D2.....92 days. So idk. I like it

I don’t think I could ever not have fun in crucible as long as you don’t take it seriously https://youtu.be/XOxs6meW4ko

I have no right to complain. With a just under 75000 Triumph score and almost 7 titles, this game has definitely kept me busy 😂

Entitled.

Lol the next day bungie drop’s a huge unexpected quest without warning so we have something to do
-
At least they have matchmaking, Anthem has dried all up for a really decent game. I can't even find anyone to play online with, it's brutal.

2 RespuestasI've yet to run out of things to do. Doesn't feel dull for me and I have a good number of hours for both games.

I'm not sure if you were around in D1, but what we've been getting this year is WAY better than in between Taken King and Rise of Iron, and Rise of Iron and D2. The year in between the big major releases we're HEAVY content droughts. I get it, the grind is dull to max power with each new season, Gambit this season is not for everyone, etc. It is okay and I feel very good for people to get on other games or do other hobbies in these down times. I'm not saying that you should just "get over it", I'm just saying I encourage you to do other things, and don't allow the feeling of "Fear of Missing Out" keep you here on D2. That's how real burnout happens. Like I said, it's totally okay to take a break, and even good for you. Just know these content droughts are very typical for Destiny's life cycle (assuming you've not been around since D1, and even if you have, it's a good reminder), and what they've done with this year is a huge step forward. I know people reference CoO and Warming all the time, but D1 did that too. Under Activision, Bungie had a base game plus 2 expansion packs planned for year 1 of both games. I feel that really is not how Bungie prefers to do things. They'd prefer to pour most of their resources into new content for the big yearly updates. Anyway, I don't mean to put down your post or add negativity. I just think there's a lot of salt out there, and it's a good reminder that these times are normal for Destiny's life cycle.

2 RespuestasRoot cause, crap engine that takes forever to do anything. They can only create so much content and have to stretch it out like three atom thick gold leaf to try to cover it up. If they don't announce a ground-up brand new engine for D3 I won't even consider playing this franchise again.

Editado por WillowFR06: 5/7/2019 9:26:36 PMD1 year one and two were very good, but after that the game became boring and too repititive. Too many bad decisions were taken by Bungie and they never listened to the community...

OUTBREAK PRIME. LET'S GOOOOO.

You’ve never played destiny 1

What makes me laugh is how the seasonal model was supposed to stop content droughts. People saying it'll stop us from burning through the content etc. When that hasn't happened at all. Releasing 5 mins worth of 'content' for the first few weeks of a season is just as bad. People burn through it then wait for next week the same they would a full expansion. The difference with the old model was that it added a bit of everything so going back and running old milestones could still be interesting. The way it is now, we get one new thing and then have to repeat the same year old content to progress.
-
They just cant make content that fast. Even more so after losing 2 extra studios with the activision split.
-
Editado por Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 5/7/2019 5:51:09 PMIt’s the combination of the current drip fed content model, most of which is uneventful and completely lacks cinematic storytelling, the fact that their answer to most balance issues is almost exclusively to nerf, and that they HEAVILY dictate player experiences to the point of it being formulaic and rigid. The game can be fun at times for sure, but it has needed to be opened up since day 1.
-
Short term fix = trials of Osiris to return. A lot of players would come back for that. Can’t be difficult to do either. Ridiculous that pvp has no end game content.
-
2 RespuestasThen what waist you time writing this post lol
-
The last 2 DLC’s were basically escalation protocol/ Court of Oryx with added bs quest steps. They screwed up Niobe labs so bad, then the core exploit, then revelry debacle. Hopefully the new leadership will have some concept of what gamers enjoy and have the ability to put it together. I won’t be buying any more of this arena horde mode shit, Bungie. If you would have started d1 with this crap it would have been a flop right out of the gate. Whoever telling you this is what destiny fans want needs to be muted.

1 RespuestaEditado por Neon: 5/7/2019 12:30:15 PM%It's funny because I had a bett#er time during #the d1 %content drought befor$e R.O.I than the annual pass% Edit: *error fixed* *grammar corrected*

I must be the only person who really enjoyed the revelry. Although only the pvp part. I felt like it introduced new loadouts and classes for the past few weeks. The weapon loadouts didn’t change much but armour builds and subclasses varied across the spectrum.

7 RespuestasFor me, it's not what was advertised. I mean take a look at the D1 trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIfKzgltjIg I was expecting an action packed space adventure. And at first it was, or at least D1 felt like it. Never in a million years thought it would de-evolve into D2 - an extremely boring RNG-based repetitive chorefest with confusing lore tabs and story teases that years later haven't even remotely come to any conclusion, leaving players frustrated and losing interest and moving on to other games that make more sense and are fun to play. It's just sad. Had so much potential.
