Half? You sure? I am pretty sure it is far above half. We are looking at a clear 80/20 of bad to good and that is being extremely generous.

So then, how are exotics worth getting over legendaries, especially if those got a great roll and/or are required for a badge, and title?

Your great loot if you are talking about legendaries is an even smaller pool of guns than the exotics. So why in the bloody hell would any normal player want to struggle for trash loot and a title when bungie could just as easily make it so much more fun for the playerbase. Oh thats right, because people enjoy a chalĺlenge for their shitty loot.
