Please bring raid/faction catalysts into strikes or crucible

seriously.....getting people together to do old content is a hassle.....a really bad hassle. Its bad enough some people have completely forgotten what to do but..........just take the catalysts out of there. It was a horrible idea to put them in there to begin with.

  • Bungie does one(theres more but lets just stay on the subject) thing wrong. They said it has rpg element's and yet i dont see any catch up mechanics with old content. Example:in ffxiv before new expansions updates came to catch up on older content(better drop rates on items for relic weapons,remove cap on weekly limit of drops in raids,remove weekly currency cap and so on). in destiny we dont have that, just imagine increased drop rate on curse of osiris and warmind loot and forsaken. Or removing spider and ada stupid low limit on those important items we use to get bounties. Its a mmofps with rpg element's so if i put in the time to grind shit i wanna hoard it and use it when i need to. The leveling system is a lie in this game. There's no real impact of leveling to 50. Or capping max power other then to hit the recommended light to do an activity(granted in ffxiv there's ilvl recommendation but you can still pull your weight if your skilled) but here power level is an entry ticket to do damage on monsters and not see immune. And the armor is useless since everything a bit highr or a bit lower(a power700 guy in rank2&3 will get one shot from a sword knight). Everything in destiny feels like a chore/job it's lost its fun. In d1 progress was mah but it worked better then in d2 now we do a job with these weekly/daily challenges to get a chance at a powerful gear(which will give us a shitty piece of gear that is lower then you so if by chance its a god roll for you and you like that weapon/armor you'll need to invest alot to make it max power). And the lie that was masterwork core ruined all progression, they are so out of touch they actually changed its name to shut us up. Yes if you put in effort and play the game you could maybe collect enough to upgrade an item or two or you could get more(depends on the player) but that don't change the fact that this item does not function well in the leveling system. Some people say they get plenty some say they dont. Both are right but this system is flawed by design. Removing them from infusion and making masterwork core go back to making masterwork is the only way this is fixed in my opinion, make infusion cost more metas and glimmer(while also remove glimmer like for -blam!- sake its 2019 why do we have a low limit on in game currency when in games you could earn as much as 9999999999, btw this is part of the fun in rpg's maxing our your cash) Now for eververse and fashion, i really loved the emotes and the bunny ear ghost but makint a "seasonal event" items purely from realy money purchases is shitty. Another example even if not perfect: in ffxiv they do many seasonal events some are good some are bad(like this years valentine event) thier ideas are sometimes fresh sometimes repetitive. Also the rewards some are unique like mounts and cool fashionable weapons and armor. And of course some rewards are mah(valentine event again) but what they do is,last years seasonal event rewards if you missed them are sold in the thier cash shop. Which if you missed(while not totally agreeing with pricing) is fair and nice. Since you'll get a chance to get what you missed and get totally new items for free with the events. Destiny does this wrong by selling the bunny ear ghost for example, just give it as an event reward and sell it in eververse next year's event. While giving new free items in the next event. There's need to be some work to balance free vs paid(even in cosmetic items!) And now my really final point is the fashion!!! For the love that is holy *beep* if you want successfull in game MTX store you must at least have a transmog system. The abillity to wear any set we have in our collection as a mirrior to hide our combat gear is the basic step in adding a MTX store to justify it at all. then you can add cosmetic armor sets for people to randomly get by opening these useless eververse boxs we get per a lvl. The community will not complain as much about MTX stores if it was implemented right like this. And the cherry on the cake....seasonal fashion sets! A santa hat..a santa suit. Revelry themed set you can wear. Dont make it 10 armor and have perks just a blank piece of armor just to be uses mirrioring your combat gear thats all. And it opens up a world of mix and match for people to enjoy. Sorry for the long wall, i was bored and wanted to write my issues with destiny 😭.
