A game that is barely 1 1/2 years old. And for which I’ve paid more than $100, all told. It makes me so angry that I don’t even know what to say. Except for the fact that I will absolutely not be preordering D3, and may not even buy it at launch.
EDIT: Road maps are just that — maps. As Anthem has proven, maps are easily altered, not followed or outright abandoned. Roadmaps aren’t content.
New DLC model isn’t working. Content is gated, events are really lackluster, and Crucible has gotten zero new maps in eight months.
Where is all the loot? Why does Eververse get bigger loot updates than the Vanguard, Crucible and Planetary vendors combined? Where is all the now mostly useless year one stuff? Where is Trials? Factions? Where’s the Sunshot, Graviton and Sweet Business catalysts? New strikes or nightfalls? Why do substantial sandbox updates happen only 2-3 times a year, when many other games — both PvE and PvP — manage an update every month, or even more?
EDIT 2: Just to be clear, I love this game. I’m still having fun playing it (about 90 percent PvP). I am deeply critical because I want it to be as good as it can be, and I don’t think it’s anywhere close to that.

13 RespuestasDestiny basically lives on it's stealler shooting and movement mechanics. People love to play the game because of that, but Bungie thinks it's because of the terrible game modes and pvp. It actually exists in spite of those things. Bring back sbmm and mode choice in pvp and crucible will become fun for the average player again instead of only being fun for those who think it's their job. Reduce invader mechanics in Gambit and watch it become more popular. Add a patrol area and pvp maps every season and watch people come back. Bring D1 trials back. Let the sweats play there. It'll keep them from bothering people trying to have fun in regular crucible. Bring factions back full time. Something more to do and more weapons/armor. Why did they replace sparrow racing in the Dawning with snowballs? Trying to push people into that forklift was awesome.

2 RespuestasAs someone who’s still enjoying the game considerably as well (also mostly PvP these days), I can’t shake the feeling Bungie’s been gradually abandoning this game. How hard could it be to bring forward the CoO Prophecy weapons with random rolls? Imagine West of Sunfall 7 with Y2 perks, for example!

I’m not, soon the end will come

3 RespuestasWe haven’t gotten a meaningful pvp sandbox update in over 10 months! Wtf is this BS
-
2 RespuestasY’all still gonna preorder D3 lmao.
-
No surprise to me.

If They want people back for D3,well let them play one night comp with me then They see the bullshit,i liked D1 spent a lot off work on D1.D2 mja dont know iT didnt catch me like D1.Back in D1 there were Some isseus with Connexxions.10 years later D2 still have the same isseus...To bad because its a Nice game, but currently killing there OWN player database and people leaving. However still believing but thats also a point for PlayStation people with a unstable Connexion shoudnt playing multiplayer games. And only aprove games on there name with detticaded servers.think that solves a lot off isseus and complains

1 RespuestaWhy be pissed? They are getting ready for BL3 to drop so they are uninstalling D2 to make room like you should. We all are getting ready for it
-
3 RespuestasI don't know about 'abandon' but, the annual pass has been awful especially for paid content. The rest of the content this year had better be stellar.
-
8 RespuestasThey actually just released yet another tess bundle the population plummeted after the twab so instead of fixing stuff and getting players back nope here a $7 bundle with 3 things it😂😂
-
5 RespuestasId just go play something else. I have division 2, warframe and mk11. Those keep me busy.

Yeah I get it , I'm the same way with the game. It's going to take time to see where the non Activision Bungie is going and what's actually going to change.

1 RespuestaEven they realise its a mundane, bore fest, but people will insist on keep playing. Destiny is like house work. You dont want to play/do it, you feel like you have to and will fall behind if you dont!

1 RespuestaD2 went from an anticipated sequel to 'Destiny Lite' in a blink of an eye. Ive never seen a sequel isolate so many hardcore players. Take the best stuff from D1 and drip feed it back into the sequel, which is half finished, and usually comes with an additional cost....sounds like a solid plan no idea why its failed tbh lol The raids and dlc in D2 besides Forsaken are embarrassing. Sequels should evolve a franchise but D2 is anything but. Destiny 2 had so much promise but Bungies execution was laughable.

1 RespuestaOh FFS the drama.
-
Well the annual pass model is an artificial grind created under activision so until the end of penumbra this is still activision supervised content...the real test of bungie as a developer is the content afterwards, once that happens we’ll see if they make or break destiny

5 RespuestasDude, Bungie has followed their road map. Just because BioWare sucks doesn’t have anything to do with Bungie. While this season is pretty weak next month is shaping up to be very good. The next year, or parts of it, may be weak but that’s ok because they are focusing on D3. The hope is without Activision but with Luke Smith in charge they can take longer to make D3 better. I’ve been playing Destiny since Alpha (on PS4 for you fact checkers) and this game has consistently produced such great content, although some better than others. I am hopeful for the future. Also, I thought I’d hate Gambit Prime because I’m not a big fan of Gambit but I was wrong. It’s pretty decent. Reckoning though I dont much care for.

9 RespuestasEditado por *: 5/1/2019 10:55:59 AMThis game would be a lot better if Factions were permanent The gunsmith actually had really good weapons Infusing didn’t cost 3/4 of your soul Strikes have better rewards consistently Doing the flashpoint was a bit more exciting Mods could drop from random places We got an actual horde mode with a unique set of armor(but that’s a story involving the dreadnaught) 90% of the armor wasn’t a straight dumpster fire

They don’t need to do a whole lot to make this game better. Bring back some big pvp maps for starters (or make new ones). Add Forsaken catalysts. Make titans more viable in pve (they’re only good to hit melting point on bosses). Those are just starters.

Totally agree, its like they just gave up

8 RespuestasWith the community as toxic as it is(worst in gaming) I would also abandoned Destiny.

6 Respuestas"Destiny is abandoned", "Bungie don't care", "the player base is dying", and the new one: "Activision saw this coming that's why the left"... First of, no one has abandoned the game, not the Devs and not all the player base, i know therw are not the same amount of players like when the season started since by now 90% of the players had already reach max power and completed almost everything in the game. The "Bungie doesnt care" makes me laugh, i've seen games that have been REALLY abandoned by their creators, like Mass Effect Andromeda. Activion jumping off the boat was (in my opinion) the best thing to happen. Just look in what state that company is!

8 RespuestasBungie makes and keeps to their road map almost completely, with the few deviations being foretold and explained beforehand. Anthem makes a road map and then almost immedietly deviates and fails to deliver with late or no explanations at all. Somehow bungie is just as bad as bioware?
