Before d2 bungie claimed they were done with nerfs and that buffs would be their way forward.
More lies I guess.
Learnt me no to believe any bungie nonsense in the run up to d3! ;)

Example 1 - laser tag weekend with the Prometheus lens. They nerfed that gun so hard, it was useless. Example 2 - turning scout rifles into pea shooters Example 3 - nova warp - the most glaring of all. Use the right tool for the job. A sledgehammer for a single nail is not the way to go.

Well tbh it’s fun though. Not in this case. I mean using a sledgehammer. But they’ve had good nerfs imho. One most notable one is OEM -
They also claimed we would get more frequent sandbox updates.

Either way Bungie would get the balance they want. They could literally just release some notes that are like: -Buffed literally everything weapon and ability except [i]x[/i] to the level of [i]x[/i] -Buffed the health of all Guardians and PvE enemies to compensate for all this extra new damage And it would be just the same as: -nerfed [i]x[/i]

Buffing other guns will make weaker guns even more ineffective. Unless Bungie give us a massive overhaul on weapon balance, the est way to fix balance is to nerf 2 guns instead of going the long way of buffing (idk) 100 others.
