Hello,
THIS WEEK AT BUNGIE you said:
"the seventh Invitation of the Nine will become available from Xûr. Before this pursuit goes live, we’d like to make players aware of a blocking issue, which we are currently working on. (...) since Vex are not available as enemies at any location on the Tangled Shore."
Do you have any further information about this problem?
Can we hope to complete this invitation before Thursday or will we lose a week or more in the timeline?
Thanks.

The issue preventing players from completing their Invitation of the Nine quest step, “The Tower,” is expected to be resolved next week in Update 2.2.2. https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/1123682745656520705

I’m still at a loss as to how this got out the door in the first place. Was any testing done? Did not one person think that it was maybe not possible to complete? How many check gates did this go through before final release?
-
funny how when pc & xbox players accidentally got the ps4 weapon they fixed it IMMEDIATELY and it’s wednesday still nothing.... *sigh*

177 RespuestasWe are still working on getting a fix out. As soon as I have a solid date I will let everyone know. Thanks.

Almost a week now .. Whats the hold up? They restricted access to pinnacle weapons immediately but cant get this issue fixed?
-
8 RespuestasColour me idiot, but Warden of Nothing - is it tied to Tangled shore? Because it has Vex prisoners, but I don't know whether or not it could count. Clearly I haven't reached that step yet.
-
1 Respuesta"Return to Cayde-6 for your reward"
-
1 RespuestaVex are in the prison strike. Why doesn’t vex kills in that strike count? You activate the strike from the tangled shore
-
6 RespuestasWait can't you get samples from strikes, and doesn't the warden of nothing strike have a lot of vex?
-
Bumping this just in case Bungie forgot.....
-
Man, this is genuinely pathetic now. They acted way quicker on the pinnacle weapons etc but 4 days after the quest dropped and still not fixed. Not to mention these 'quests' were clearly set before this whole thing started. Either revert the previous patch and allow us to kill them anywhere or auto complete it.

14 RespuestasWelcome to the wonderful world of Bungie without the scapegoat called Activision. They don't even know their game, this week they ask us to kill Vex on Tangled Shore, next week they'll send us to Nessus to kill Scorns. Just wait for it.
-
tick tock tick tock.... it has been how many days since this weeks Invitation was released? and they knew about it before...I'm guessing the weekend shift is non existent. probably just started on it today....the Nine invitation is really the only reason I play Destiny still.
-
1 RespuestaHa. Sinple things like this is why people should be worried about bungie. I think activision got a bad wrap for no reason.
-
1 RespuestaIt’s a manufactured problem to extend the Nine Invitations an extra week. They’re gonna call it “content”.
-
They put out a patch pretty quick when you could gain samples by killing enemies on any planet. Now that it’s something that people want fixed, we can expect a patch around Season 43.
-
2 RespuestasSo. Has there been any word, at all, on a fix for this? Are we going to get "Locked out" of this week's Invitation? What is going on?
-
1 RespuestaIf something positively impacts the player but bungie doesn’t like it, gets patched immediately. Pinnacle weapon core farm and getting samples off planet. But if something negatively impacts the players, Bungie takes their sweet time.
-
5 RespuestasSeriously how hard is it to fix it? They patched forge light levels the day after volundr came out. Just remove the vex requirement it’s that simple like Jesus
-
1 RespuestaIt doesn't effect Eververse so Bungie doesn't give a shit
-
19 RespuestasDISCLAIMER: The reason for the Bug is that the “Warden Of Nothing” strike Technically takes place on Earth in the EDZ, In the Coding of the game. This results in the Vex from that Strike not dropping their samples, and is a much Deeper code-fix than other issues, such as the last Invitations of the Nine fix they released. They just want to make sure that fixing it, does not breka other aspects of the game. Because of the way Destiny’s Engine Works, and the Timing of the issue (over the weekend), This Takes Time Please be patient.

Any updates would be nice
-
1 RespuestaMy question is, should i bother hurrying to get this done tonight before reset? In the case that they auto complete the kill vex section.
-
(Clears throat)

You’d think Bungie would have learned from the core debacle that was going to let people get an extra 42 cores max from extra pinnacle weapons to just give players some leeway as we invest hundreds of hours into the game and deserve the extra rewards anyways. But no. Same situation. They try to keep their stingy ways in tack so they break the game again due to their own self interest. This all goes to show what kind of company Bungie actually is. This goes to show it was not Activision that was the worst part of this game. It’s Bungie.

3 RespuestasProof positive bungie has no care for delivering a quality experience to their players, do not play test, have zero quality control and its all BE the acitivision was problem. Dont buy the next season pass or destiny 3. Wait. Bungie should earn us back. This isnt a simple development bug or hiccup its a symptom of a much larger problem and trend.
