  • The time to kill is too much like COD for the sweats with best weapons. Heavy locations were better and less frequent. Plus for the whole team.

  • Why was everything about D1 more fun and enjoyable than this game is the real question here. Don't get me wrong I like D2. Bungie and their nerf hammer and lack of interest to support their community is what annoys me. Anything that benefits us either gets patched asap or nerfed into the floor but anything like bloom, invitations quest, loading times, enhancement cores etc etc is just left and ignored. The Activision split was meant to be a good thing but atm I only find myself playing D2 saying "err I suppose I should get on D2 to do that " instead of basically spending every free gaming hour I had on it.

  • Because people were still playing the game. Every other game im spawning into a short stack. And how pathetic a loser of a guardian do you have to be to be running Luna and nade spam during IB? The quality of player as well as quantify has diminished to the point of absurdity. Also. When will the fix for the embarrassing invitation of nine vex bug be implemented? Bungie is an embarrassment and guardians in IB are an embarrassment.

  • It had better weapons (All D1 IB weapons would be the meta in D2), armour style, ranking systems, D1 ttk was vastly superior, there were 100's of weapons/armour/build combos that could help win those 1v1, 1v2 conflicts It had balance & map variety And overall - D1 was built better - the PvP team was just better at their job

  • I had a IB Lingering Song and I remember that gun had iron lordy sight, hidden hand ,reinforced barrel, firefly, and more perks that I'm forgetting right now, would have to check my D1 Warlock for exact spec, but I know that gun was monster, it aimed itself and hit like a shotgun at scout range, and I only ever ran across a handful of Guardians that had or even knew about that God roll.

  • Ah, the HandCannon (weird looking thing, spiky prong front attachment) one roll in particular that is outstanding for PvP, a combination of Braced Frame, Feather Mag, and Luck in the Chamber. The first two perks drop the mag size down to 4, which means LitC has a very, very high chance of activating during engagements, meaning you'll be two-tapping people left/right & centre As far as the sights go, Iron Lordly boosted aim assist, and The Lingering Song doesn't really have a lot of it, so you'll definitely want that. 👍

  • Yeah with iron lordy and hidden hand on a handcannon that powerful was cheat mode then add firefly that's why I called it a monster, yeah the gun has a nasty looking bayonet on it, so did the sniper.

  • The crazy drops that you could get, was the main things I chased. Can't tell you how many imgoloop I dismantled looking for the perfect one. The lost of God rolls and the addition of double primaries, soured me on D2 from the start.

  • Armor was nicer and weapons were actually worth it. D2 IB.....no desire to even waste my time with it. Just my opinion tho, others will vary.

  • Cause the armor and weapons was worth the pain and suffering that it brought and you only remember spending time with friends and getting cool gear. Now iron banner is only pain and suffering with only one set of armor looking good for a class and the rest just looking mediocre and there's no weapons worth grinding for the perfect roll.

  • The weapons and gear were unique to IB and worth playing for. The weapons and gear you got actually dropped at or above your level, not way below it. The maps were made for 6v6 combat, not made for 4v4 and then jammed 12 players into it. D1 was just more FUN to play overall. D2 is just a sad cover band version of D1.

  • Well for one the new weapons we get each season are year 1 weapons being brought ha.. and we did actually get new weapons every iron banner in d1... Iron banner is such a joke now and bungie doesn't put hardly any effort towards it .. Example the iron burden debuff, wizened rebuke triumph , and the new emblems it always gets ... Alone probably not much time in it .. but if you took the time they take making these kinds of things and put it into new weapons not bumping up of year 1 weapons .. they could even bring back destiny 1 IB weapons models over bringing up d2 y1 weapons .. but they could make probably 2 NEW weapons each banner .. there is not much to grind for other than the armor .. I haven't touched iron banner in 3 seasons you know why ? Because we have had the same weapon pool since forsaken other than the year 1 gear they bring up ... Same way with vendor refreshes .. we go a whole year with the same stuff for shax and zavala .. we get a pinnacle weapon and 1 bumped up weapons.. never a new loot pool .. I've got the Ib weapons I want with the rolls so do most .. they give away the same stuff Everytime and there's no incentive

  • And cause it wasn't this sweaty in general. The trials weapons were good but not ridiculously so like the NF.
