Your recent competitive history looks very skeptical. If it wasn’t you, then you played many games with someone who was manipulating the network. This can still lead to you getting punished, because you failed to leave.

1. It doesn’t matter who was doing it. You are guilty for staying in the party & earning those free/ill-gotten wins. It’s called being guilty by association. You had plenty of opportunities to leave & you definitely should’ve known what was going on. 2. It’s not me that did this to you. You did it to yourself for playing with someone who was ddosing. Bungie had to step in & punish the players who were in on these actions. Maybe use this as a lesson for next time you are in a team with someone who is cheating. You know that enemy teams don’t normally just all leave before even landing and/of playing in a round.

If someone in your fireteam was manipulating the network, then you are just as guilty as if it were you doing the manipulation yourself, so this is not an "unfair" ban. And to answer your last question, bans are permanent.
