Revelry in competitive makes it clear that pvp is a joke to bungie.
The fact that they added this and either forgot about how it would affect the competitive playlist or implemented it knowing full well what they were doing is just a big joke and a slap in the face to anyone who plays pvp seriously. I am very disappointed with who ever is in charge of the crucible side inside bungie, because they seem to not care at all about any of the dedicated pvp players.

While it may be [i]somewhat[/i] labour-intensive, I'd say "why not both?", or, to be more accurate, "why not all three": - Crucible "as is", for those loving it the way it is. - Revelry Crucible, for all fun and games for those willing to lob-lob/nudge-nudge/plop-plop:). - Crucible without supers and heavy, just for those willing to pew-pew, without any necessity to worry about "oh, dear, another swoosh-swoosh, well, time to make myself a brew". Just good, old fashioned shooting each other in the faces. As I understand, first two variants are already exist, so Bungie only need to keep both online, and only third one has to be implemented.

Bungie remove Revelry buff from competitive NOW. You cant imagine how angry i became, when i saw that grenade spam in competitive...

22 RespuestasGod forbid Bungie adds in a temporary curve ball into destiny for a couple weeks to change up things 🙄 This community is so toxic. A event advertised as fun and giggles is viewed as broken and toxic. You played yourself by going in knowing what was happening and didn’t use the buff to your advantage. Pinnacle weapons and triumphs can wait a couple weeks. A temporary event that’s only here for a couple weeks, can’t. Learn to prioritize.

Either way they want to silence us with our concerns about competitvness. I don't feel welcome in this game talking to anyone outside the PVP community.

1 RespuestaI honestly don't think Bungie cares about D2 anymore. They made their money. They really don't care what happens at this point. The key problems are things they aren't going to spend assets fixing at this point in the life cycle. The maps are crap. The meta is crap. Supers have dominated since they juiced the recharge rate Y1, heavy has dominated from day 1. At this point we can either wait for D3 and hope for the best, deal with what we have, or move on.

I play the entire game because I enjoy it but even I know if they didn't include pvp in quest and bounties it would be a ghost town. If your serious you should be asking for sbmm back then you could be matched with all the other serious jerkoffs and play ookie cookie together.

“Competitive Destiny” is a pretty big oxymoron of a concept. When I heard about this being a thing, it didn’t even surprise me. They don’t care about balance in Competitive or Crucible in general? Cold, moldy news.
