Cupcakes. That's what I said I would make for Easter this year... I have never brought a selfmade product to family Easter, and this will be the first time. No we are not religious, our tradition is based on the Polish Christian model of the Holiday; circa 1900's origin for our families Americanized version, but we do not practice. I'll be straight... I effed up... I have absolutely no Idea what kind of -blam!-ing cupcakes I am going to make, I have never made them before and now I am on the hook for at [u]least[/u] a bakers dozen. So I could use some suggestions on what kind of cupcakes to make along with cupcake making tips... I'm figuring [u]Vanilla[/u] for the cake portion- don't want to get too cray my first time out cupcaking, amirite? But now for the frosting... I'm going to nix chocolate, it's delicious but it's boring. Going with the spring theme of Easter/ I was thinking of doing buttercream with one of the flavors above... pick my frosting flavor OT. more flavor ideas are welcome but I don't know if I will go for anything too complicated Edit: will post pictures of cupcakes when finished.
