Cores are preventing experimentation with different guns.
If it wasn’t a waste of cores, I’d happily bring an interesting roll up to light and trial it.
D1 had it right in the end. Straight infuse.

This is a very bad argument for cores. Because you don’t really have to infuse something to try it, and if it’s only one weapon it’s power won’t make a huge difference to your overall power.
