Yes. You can get a milestone then move on to the next milestone. That’s the problem. If someone wants to grind all the way up to max by patrolling then just let them do that. Instead Bungie forces people to run around doing single milestones then moving on to the next. Call me a whiner all you like but this system makes the game less fun. It’s why people sit in a gambit match and try to lose because getting the engram doesn’t depend on winning. It’s why you get the same in strikes and crucible because all you have to do is show up and not get kicked to orbit to get an engram. If players had the freedom to play what they actually WANT to play and still progress then you wouldn’t have issues like that.
