If I don't have a weapon I can't complain is the same logic of If I don't spend money on micro transactions I can't complain about them.
Anyone can call for balance, some want to play well, and do when put in the right circumstances, but haven't had the time or patience to get the weapon. Their opinion matters as much as the people who have it.

Invalid comparison. Spending money at eververse doesn't require skill. So bitch away. Hitting high ranks in comp to get the pinnacles does. So if you don't have the skill required to acquire said weapons, your opinions don't have the same weight when it comes to castrating them with nerfs. You're just salty about a gem you can't get. I get it, but it's kinda pathetic. Or maybe you have the skill, but don't have the time. Similar point still. You want it nerfed because you don't want to put the time in? Well. The people who did have the skill and put the time in don't deserve to have their reward for that investment made less awesome because you can't be bothered.

Using your logic you can’t say shit either because you don’t have the skill to get them.
Using your logic you can’t say shit either because you don’t have the skill to get them.
Hey, if I was like "wahhh I don't like getting killed by this gun, I don't care if you put that time and effort in to get it, I don't have time like that, so nerf it so my trust can match it" I'd expect someone to come in and tell me to stfu as well.

You can most certainly have an opinion. But it absolutely weighs less. Sorry. We're not talking poles on if it's strong or not. We're talking about nerfing the shit out of it. And if you didn't put in the time and effort to get it in the first place, yup, your opinion counts less. This isn't an rng weapon that is melting everyone that needs to be fixed because you could play 1000 hours and just not get it, but Billy got it his first drop and has an unfair advantage now. Insert pre Nerf wavesplitter here. There is a clear path to acquire it. And if you don't invest the time and effort into getting it, you don't get as strong a voice when it comes to neutering it.

Lol I don’t care about pvp I barely play it anymore. Btw I have Luna’s howl. This thread just interested me and I just do happened to run into your incredibly flawed “If you don’t have it your opinion really doesn’t mean shit” logic. I’d argue it means more because they’re the poor souls getting bodied by these weapons.

Hey man if we were talking about the pre Nerf oem I'd totally agree with you. Because it's a huge advantage that you LUCK your way into. That's some bullshit. I played a good amount and didn't get an oem until like 3 days ago. Where others got it their first forsaken exotic. Of course everyone gets to come together and decide that shit is op. This isn't that though. You put the effort in, you get your reward for it. Simple as that. If oem came from some super difficult chain of achievement with loss mechanics and all that, and that line of objectives was available to me, but I decided I couldn't be bothered with it, who am I to demand it gets nerfed into the ground?

Pathetic is your narrow mindset that this is the only thing in the game that requires skill and therefore it should be awesome. Raids take skill, time, coordination, effort, etc. Yet, pretty much all the raid loot is outgunned by just about anything. Hate to break it to you, but you pvp tryhard types arent the best. You're just people who enjoy getting those pinnacle weapons and then using them to stomp noobs in quickplay or IB with your stack of equally pathetic tryhard friends. Prove me wrong.

Mountain top and Luna's are meh at best in pve. Again, sorry that you feel like your weapons you got in pve should match the efficacy in pvp of the highest level rewards from skill based comp triumphs. But that's stupid. Why isn't there some crazy bad ass weapon for Petra's run? I couldn't tell you. There definitely should be. But as it stands, all those weapons are straight rng. Could've gotten 1K voices on your first riven kill, others have 80+ runs with Jack shit. Nothing skill based about 100% rng. If you honestly think running a last wish should rng you rewards that match pvp weapons that take months to obtain by grinding out thousands of points in pvp, that's just silly my guy.

Plus, if the pve was actually difficult and offered a super op weapon, and the pvp community whined about it being too hard for them to get, I'd argue that it should be more accessible too. I play both, so I'm not arguing because I'm incapable of getting it. I havent yet because I took a hiatus due to d2 just being trash over all. I just dont like elitists or elitist responses to topics of any nature.

Editado por HenrysOtherLeg: 4/1/2019 5:23:18 AMOnly way to make it fair is bring back sbmm to quick play so less of these over equipped good players are stomping lesser skilled players. That would solve a lot of unbalance and take heat off the actual weapon. Also, it doesn’t just boil down to skill to get a pinnacle weapon when paid carries is a thing.

I have the skill and team, but not the time. If some people’s opinions don’t matter, or in this case most people, compared to others there is something wrong with feedback. The weapon will always be good no matter what happens. The balance is based on the majority of the players so most people who don’t have the gun.
