This is just sad... but then again, I have rarely logged on since the Division 2 has come out. There are constant sources of crafting materials in the world and there are so many ways to get gear that it allows all players to get loot how they prefer. Like to explore? There are loot boxes hidden throughout the world. Like control points? You not only get large amounts of gear, several of the gear boxes respawn over time. Like grinding through missions? Four different difficulties with better gear as difficulty increases. Like PvEvP and want some risk with big payoffs? Dark Zones. Like PvP? Yup, you get gear that way as well. Want to craft your own gear? Just find the blueprints and have the materials which are pretty plentiful. Attached to a particular weapon or gear but found a better talent on another piece of gear of the same type? You can recalibrate. Division 2 still has its rough edges and issues, but man it feels so damn good to be rewarded good gear for just exploring the world. The grind behind Division 2 is the theory crafting and finding the gear to make the most of your playstyle; to experiment and find fun combinations and interesting interactions between all of them. I'm sorry that Bungie refuses to address the community's number one problem with their game.
