Well done, Bungie. Once again, you force players into the crucible to get a weapon.
Guess what, assholes? Some people DON'T enjoy it, so stop forcing them into things they don't wanna do. You've been told before, so stop it. 🙄
Edit: To all you idiots saying I'm complaining about the quests: This post is to say there should ALWAYS be an alternative to these kinds of quests. PvP players who prefer it should not be forced into PvE environments to get a weapon, just like PvE preferred players shouldn't be forced into PvP.

I don’t enjoy pve but you don’t see me complaint about it

10 RespuestasEditado por Mister Wrecked: 3/22/2019 2:34:01 PMThere are 50 exotic weapons. 12 have quests. 6 of those quests require Crucible, one requires Gambit and Crucible, and 1 requires Gambit. 4 of thosr require kills, while 2 only require that you complete a couple matches. 2 of the quests require guardian kills in Gambit (and one of those also required Crucible). That means that 43 exotic weapons, 86% of all exotic weapons, can be had without any Crucible or Gambit at all. There are lots of players who enjoy PVP. It is absolutely unreasonable to expect that zero exotic quests would be aimed at them. They deserve content that involves the activities that they enjoy just as you do.

7 RespuestasStop forcing me to play raids for the raid exotics! -blam!- you bungie you assholes! You’re disrespecting us PvP players by putting special items behind the raids!
this is what you sound like
2 RespuestasEditado por City: 3/25/2019 7:09:12 PMI’m sure someone is going to have something to say about skill or whatever, but as a casual player I could not agree more. I’d rather have to kill 5x the enemies or do strikes/heroic story missions to grind it out than have to do 20 precision crucible kills. There should always be 2 ways to achieve something, even if you have to take longer to do it. Playing crucible, regardless of if we win or lose is not enjoyable. It doesn’t mean anyone is a bad player if they enjoy PvE more than PvP, and Bungie should accommodate both groups. It would make sense if when you get a quest you could select a PvE or PvP version and off you go. Edit- I wouldn’t be opposed to specific activity weapons, but weapons with so much lore behind them should be hard to get but available for all players. If some people only want to do PvP to get it, then they should have that option as well.

Stop crying

Nobody forced you to do it. You went into this of your own volition.

1 RespuestaOk so you've already said you've obtained the weapon yet later you say you are at 28% hmm do or do you not have the thorn

6 RespuestasIf you don't wanna do the pvp part thats fine you don't have to do it you just won't get Thorn. Nobody is forcing you to go after the gun at all. If you don't wanna do whats required than you don't deserve it at all and no amount of whining and complaining is going to change that fact. They made it easy as hell and people still are crying. The people making excuses are just lazy asses and will use any excuse to justify why they can't get Thorn even though it is practically a guaranteed completion.

As it should

Thorns trash

2 RespuestasEditado por Dark Raven 2501: 3/23/2019 10:40:47 PMCan I ask what is the weapon in question that you are talking about? Because I have already given up on reclaiming the ace of spades - the last word & the thorn because of this bull shit
-
No ones forcing you to collect the weapom. Are they holding you at gun point saying you have to get the weapon?

6 RespuestasOh look another quest that requires mostly pve to get a weapon, guess what assholes some people don't enjoy it...

Editado por Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 3/24/2019 5:02:56 PMThis is the issue with games as a service. Imagine if other entertainment as services had something similar. If Netflix wouldn’t let you watch the next episode of your favorite show until you watched 2 episodes of Bridezillas. Next you have to rate 5 shows, then write 1 review. It’s obviously not exactly the same, but the more control the player has, the better. Bungie makes little to no effort in the regard and the game is so rigid and formulaic to the point of it being detrimental. There should ALWAYS be alternatives.

2 RespuestasEditado por Golden: 3/23/2019 8:00:36 PMY’all literally complain about anything PvP related Seriously I can bet you if a quest required you to get 10 Headshot kills and 5 wins in quickplay you would blast cum out of your asshole and complain. Be thankful they didn’t bring back that stupid profession thing where you died and lost progress
-
5 RespuestasI only play PvP for special occasions or quests. Every time I do it 100% solo. Never even touched comp until the thorn quest. The last part (the revamped strike) was more of a pain than any of the PvP I CHOSE to do for the gun. I didn’t cry and i now have my thorn.
-
Then don’t do the quest.
-
You aren't forced into anything. You're choosing not to do it

4 RespuestasThey dont force you into PVP, they force you into buying another game.

1 RespuestaAnyone who says “you’re not forced” is a dick. Go ahead people, prove me right.

Lol Bet the next step will force us into pvp to get Masterwork Cores!

3 RespuestasThe desperate plea of a man that’s still raw and red from getting them cheeks clapped..... apply yourself..... PvP players don’t want to grind the brain dead PvE aspects of the game for better weapons yet we don’t come on here and cry we just accept it as part of the game..... now go get some bandages to wrap dat ass up
