nobody wants to do a raid with four people alongside two brainless stubs for the same rewards, it just doesnt make sense. giving some incentive to being a guide, however, could help make it a thing again. +5 power loot, upped exotic drop rate, extra weapons, enhancement cores etc. as bonus loot could make people WANT to be a guide, and proooobably increasing guided games population. yay or nay?
-
I think they know guided games sucks. But they stopped developing for it like a year ago for other priorities that they care sitting on their ass for also.
-
It sucks cuz I’m not a bad PvE player I’ve just only done the raid twice and whenever I match a team they back out for some reason
-
motivation to guide is desparately needed. such as a reward for the guide like increased drop chance for coveted exotic drops or double xp during the event or a weekly clan engram for completeing a guided game. also nightfall needs to allow the choice of which one is run, and scored runs.

2 RespuestasIf Bungie would stop always looking for ways around optional matchmaking, Guided games wouldn't have been a "needed" thing. I'm not saying everything in this game needs optional matchmaking but it would solve the problem of this company wasting time and resources on things that don't work. It's basically adding unnecessary things to the game like privet Gambit matches that there wasn't even anywhere near enough of the player base asking for that. More content created that was a waste of time instead of investing in what the game actually needs.
-
Working as intended. Love Bungo
-
Everyone needs to learn at some point and I agree that if there was more incentive then an emblem it’s likely I would more then happily guide two through raids.
-
2 RespuestasD2 raids are far too mechanic heavy. If low player base completion numbers were the goal...mission accomplished!!!
-
4 RespuestasEvery activity needs OPTIONAL matchmaking. Opt in if you're looking for someone, Opt out if you want to go solo or have your own fireteam.
-
2 RespuestasGuided Games is one of their lame-ass attempts to substitute proper matchmaking with a pseudo matchmaker.
-
1 Respuesta6 friends don't want to do a raid either due to terrible loot in a loot game.
-
I thought they did away with it. After sitting on the matchmaking screen for 40+ minutes while I ate I gave up and never looked back. It's way too easy to lfg someone.
-
Guided games lol damn haven’t heard that in a while.
-
11 RespuestasSo reward people who refuse to get a group of their own... in an mmo Raids shouldnt have guided games in the first place, the idea is these are difficult trials you face with your clan or friends.
-
If it guaranteed the drop of a raid exotics for the sherpas at high light it would probably be more worthwhile.
-
10 RespuestasInstead of guided games, Bungie should add bulletin boards to the Tower. One would be for sherpa's and one would be for speed runs. Players could show up and sign up. Once a raid team is full, off they go. I think this would provide more access to raids for all players.
-
1 RespuestaLets be real, when is the last time you even considered using guided games? Or even remembered it ever existed?
-
1 RespuestaThey only need guided games for raids and still add a hub at the tower for raids that people are willing and want to play! And no I don't need replies of lfg and get a clan! Some people would like this like the division 2 has! Let's be real they have matchmaking for tier 3 reckoning! They can easily make matchmaking for nightfalls! Nightfalls are just a bonified strike!

1 RespuestaEditado por RichGhost77: 3/20/2019 8:53:55 PMJust because someone hasn't done it (or anything else for that matter) doesn't automatically make them brainless, just saying.

Increased drop rates on exotics sounds fair for guided gaming. Or maybe something like how they do challenges you get an extra chest... Maybe that would get raid pop. back up. I know when my clan isnt on and i dont want to use random lfg, guided gaming is the way to go. Negs though long wait times and like was stated above no incentives beside the tracking emblems and auras for the sherpa. Why bungie just doesnt incorperate the structure of D1 is beyond me. I was hooked after the taken king dropped now i find myself getting bored..

I don't think Bungie cares if lots of people do the raid. They built the raids for streamers to all compete for the world's first to get extra publicity. If you or I can do them, great. If not, no big deal. Guided games was just shoved in there to try and shut people up. I can't imagine they would focus any energy on it. All of your suggestions are great and would add value, but I still say nay because I would rather see Bungie focus on the many other things that need attention verses the raid which the vast majority of people just don't want to do because it's designed poorly.
-
17 RespuestasThe biggest issue is Bungie's decision to 1) go with one raid difficulty vs a normal and hard mode and 2) going so ridiculously mechanic heavy that it takes longer to teach new players each encounter than it does to actually run them. King's Fall had mechanics, but they weren't anything you couldn't teach a new player quickly and we ran new raiders through there constantly. Who would want to teach new players Last Wish constantly. That's just painful to contemplate.

guided games would be farmable by having a guide “guiding” people who actually know what they are doing, or just carrying them through a raid like sotp

Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 3/20/2019 4:37:04 PMThe real problem with Guided Games: Every other problem. The matchmaking is broken in a weird way I can prove and have like 15 witnesses to explain but Bungie doesn't know cause 6 months of me say it just gets flooded by other topics. I have 44 Sherpas Raids, over 120 people taught but only like 70 Guided Encounters. Would be over 150 if the Matchmaking had the quick fix it needs which is simply removing hidden criteria that now just blocks Guides like me and my friends from Guiding anymore. Simply put: Months of Guided Games and patterns to it not searching has proven the factors to make only the proper parties match up, to create a decent experience with less lag, has escalated into it blocking matchmaking most of the time, without proper cause.

I have no issue with there being an incentive to do guided games. I've done some guided games a few times. But as some people on this post have mentioned, some people just aren't ready for the raid. They either can't follow instructions, aren't high enough light, or don't have the right weapons for the job. With that in mind, some people have other stuff to do. Doing a 4-hour raid is not always an option for people.

Editado por FL00FING AB0UT: 3/20/2019 3:22:23 PMI’m not saying this to be rude or mean but, many times I’ve tried guiding, the people we were guiding had absolutely no business in the raid. As in, even when given direction and explicit instructions, were unable to execute. After SEVERAL attempts without significant improvement. At what point is a person no longer obligated to continue throwing themselves at a wall that will not break? I like the idea of increasing incentive, however. It’d benefit all involved.
