Seems like everyday of the week all you see is pve players complaining about pvp. Pvp has huge issues dont get me wrong. However, pve players dont comment on these issues instead basically say its too hard and force bungie to nerf things that do not need a nerf. in Destiny 3 I want pve and pvp completely opposite so pve players cannot complain about a thing. One of the most annoying things I see is Pve players putting input into pvp after playing it for 5 hours and thinking they know everything about it.. Well you don't.
In many ways this is also a casual vs hardcore argument. Most hardcore players are pvp players and most casuals just do pve content. I feel bungie is pressured and forced by Pve whinners they go into comp and play 2 games and come to the conclusion that guns like NF, mountain top, and 1000 voices need nerfs. I just want bungie to listen to long term pvp players, obviously when bungie wants to do something for pve they go to pve players, and obviously pvp players don't complain about pve content being too difficult. Pve players to me just fill entitled to be good at the game so they can have higher egos.
btw this is a highly assumable post. obviously not all Pve players are like this. but in my experience this is the type of stuff I see on this site. most people go as low as to make fun of the other person except for using fact to explain why things need nerfs or change.

10 RespuestasEditado por SHDGunner: 3/21/2019 11:39:25 AMDisagree with everything you just said, except the seperating of PVE and PVP. Bungie's insistence on forcing PVP and PVE to share the same gear and same abilities has created this tension in the community. The PVE power-fantasy breaks the balance that PVP needs. PvP balance breaks the power-fantasy that a loot-game needs for PVE. Everything else you said is the kind of elitist crap that makes PVE players resent PVP players. 1. There are a LOT of hardcore players who don't like PVP. Not everyone feels this need to compete or to shoot other people in the face. PVP appeals to a particular KIND of player. 2. Since PVP is **competitive** it naturally rewards the player who invests a lot of time and practice into the game. Otherwise you're not going to be very good, and you'll get stomped. 3. Other than compulsive competitionists who feel they have to have every gun int he game, PVE players wouldn't touch Comp in this game to slap its face. In fact, most PVE players HATE this game's PVP because of the lack of skill-matching....and one of the biggest complaints about the game is about why so many exotic quests pressure players into playing this game's dysfunctional PVP. (Quickplay....not Comp.) 4. The complaints you are getting about nerfs are ALWAYS from other PVP players. Players who have fragile egos and need to blame gear for why they are losing. Players who think everyone else should have to play the game to their strengths. So they try to get the weapons of every otehr play style NERFED so they can have an advantage. 5. Luna's Howl/Not Forgotten were always going to be a long-term disaster. But Bungie was desperate a year ago to find a way to encourage people to play in a Crucible that was dying. So they made a Deal With the Devil. They introduced guns into the Crucible that were guarenteed to break the balance....but would encourage people to play becuase it woudl give them an advantage, and it would be a impressive trophy and badge of honor. You guys bit....and bit hard. So now you have a Crucible where the best players not only have a skill advantage, they have a GEAR advantage over everyone else. The result being that the guns have become Golden Handcuffs to the people who have them. Those who have them are now acting as gatekeepers preventing other people from earning them (you have to beat those who have them already in order to get them)....so the cheating problem in Comp is a nightmare. Plus the things are running rampant in Quickplay and making the experience miserable for average players. So, IOW, Bungie has one very difficult mess to clean up. These guns will slowly suck the life out of PVP if they're left as they are.....and if Bungie does anything to them, it'll be a slap int he face to the people who invested the time to earn them. This is a predictable corner Bungie painted themselves into, and its going to be interesting to see how they get themselves out of it...... (Pops chair, sits down, and reaches for popcorn......)

1 RespuestaI don't even know why pvp is in this game. There's fortnite and apex legends. i certainly didn't start playing destiny because i thought it was a pvp game. i thought it was gonna be kinda like borderlands. to be honest i'm surprised anyone plays destiny pvp, especially hearing how broken it is and how great the dedicated pvp games are.

Editado por xBraveSirRobinx: 3/21/2019 6:54:52 AMWhile we are generalizing and making statements based on opinions with no data to back it up... Hardcore players mostly play pve, pvp players are mostly casual. Most people I know that have played as much as me, well.. they play mostly pve, so it must be true? Pvp players just complain about weapons and supers to get the ones they don’t like, or don’t personally choose to use, nerfed over and over and over. You rarely see pve mains complaining that a weapon is too powerful or a super too useful.

9 RespuestasPeople make excuses for everything. I keep telling people that even if they nerf Luna/NF another will take its place and then they will whine about that. Pve purists not pve players are the toxic whiny bunch. The service revolver is litteraly the poor mans NF but they still complain. They are dividing they community and want to use pvp as the cop out for everything. Whisper got nerfed because of pve but they still pointed the finger at pvp knowing full well that nobody uses that gun there.

They have needed to separate them since the beginning. The blend is incredibly impractical. Having players run around completing personal objectives while on a team in a competition makes zero sense. Those are fundamentally opposing things.
