Lmao it took me like 4 or 5 comp games with the Trials hand cannon to do the Void kills part. So many trash players talking about it taking hours to do.
English
-
Hah! Well done! Got mine done last night too. I did it in qp, but didn't take me too long either. Couple hours. Could've done comp, but wasn't in the mood.
-
Dont respond to any of these people man, they dont understand that a crucible weapon should require crucible quest steps. They are the ones that dont play the game and snowflake over here rather then spend time with their wife and kids.
-
Yeah....
-
I am a trash pvp player. That’s because I hate this pvp. The meta game has ruined crucible. So yep, I’ll bitch and moan cause I paid my money and have every right to do so. The death impeding progress mechanic is friggin dumb. I could care less about grinding it but I do care about taking longer than necessary. I’ve got granddaughters to love.

Editado por arijua: 3/13/2019 1:38:28 PMYou don’t deserve thorn then. Is a pvp weapon my friend... You just sound like an entitled little bitch that want everything from nothing
-
Umm... and where exactly does it say that is a pure PvP weapon? Its perks? Because it’s a weapon of sorrow, guardian killer by definition and lore? That does not directly correlate to crucible only (aka, our PvP) to claim as such is to disregard and a dis-appreciation to its lore. Its a fallacy used quite often around here regarding weapons.
-
Gun was always a pvp centric weapon. It is 100% the counter to last word.
-
Again where exactly does that make it pure PvP? Its a built idea. Thorn is a weapon of sorrow, thus devours guardians light, thus meat to kill guardians therefore PvP centric, does that make all weapons of sorrow PvP oriented? No, The steps requiring guardians light? again something to reflect its back story rather than "its meant for PvP", its all a fallacy of thinking bred by the weapon reflecting its story in its perks and being overly OP in PvP back in D1 (we all know the mess that was) But this goes beyond that, Thorn is the weapon that devours light, from a guardian that fell to darkness, the antithesis of the last work and the man with the golden gun, light vs darkness, different ideologies and so much more, their entire story emphasis that, it represents far more than a weapon to kill guardians, crucible is barely part of its tale if at all. i am not making this up, in fact we do have weapons with a stronger and clearer statement of "PvP centric weapon" in their lore/story than Thorn has. True, we now have a big plot twist about the man with the golden gun, but even that changes nothing on this matter. Farewell guardian, and pardon the bad English.
-
Editado por Hatter: 3/13/2019 3:47:53 PMThat was alot to get from just my one sentence. In a pure shooter sense, it was built with PvP in mind. I am 100% familiar with the lore on it and plan on using it outside PvP. You don't have to tell me.
-
Sometimes the rant gets a life of its own, my bad "In a pure shooter sense, it was built with PvP in mind" because of its perks? there are quite a few that fit the bill better but aren't PvP centric, i guess we will agree to disagree if nothing else. I am not telling you, its none of my business, each one of us plays how they wish, there is nothing else to it. In the end what i am saying is that the "Its a pure PvP weapon" is a flawed idea, nothing more.

Mate Bungie can change lore whenever they want. D1 was a pvp weapon to kill guardians. Now they changed the lore to adapt the story to this dlc. Not the first time they done that. “Cannon”
-
[O.o] Really, changed lore to fit the DLC? lol forget anything brought with D2, go brush up your lore and all that ties to Thorn and its history, then say that again.
-
My reply to some other yahoo with the same idiotic comment: Since the over $100 I spent so some chucklehead can get paid to write drivel people can obsess over, yes. Yes I can. I guess you watch porn for the engrossing stories of love and commitment to one’s spouse in their never ending pursuit of true bliss. 😒 I love Star Wars and Star Trek but I don’t need lore to tell me at what age Kirk masturbated to Uhura pics she posted on Instagram. Lore nerds.
-
You are the example of most people on this forum: doesnt play the game, but for some reason is still allowed to have an opinion on these forums.
-
I play the game. Been playing since D1 beta. And regardless, I paid my money. As a consumer, I can bitch all I want thank you.
-
*didnt play the game for the past 3 months* ‘Bitch talk’ about not being able to obtain a pvp weapon by playing pvp? Please stop
-
Editado por GallowsPole: 3/13/2019 1:56:41 PMYet I still have about 40 more hours played then you. Moron. I won’t even embarrass you with hours played in Destiny 1.
-
Git gud my friend its better that complaining in the forum
-
Why does my disliking of mechanics equate to “git gud”? I can be super awesome and still dislike aspects of the game. Humans can do that!
-
Do you have the weapon?
-
Editado por GallowsPole: 3/13/2019 1:46:52 PMDude. I don’t even have Chaperone yet. My life doesn’t involve grinding these quests out especially when I have to do pvp. I do the weekly bounties and if I need arc kills, I’ll run arcstrider that week. 🤷♂️. That’s why you’ll never hear me bitch about lack of content. EDIT: Not to mention I used all these in D1. Why the hell would I kill myself grinding to use pale replicas of the originals.
-
Please share screenshots as proof of your playtime, the fact that you dont have chaperone contradicts any argument you made.

Editado por VERBUGA: 3/13/2019 3:41:45 PMSadly it doesnt show total time doing nothing, it would explain why i have double the triumph points in less time.

I just play to play. I enjoy the game. Just not some of the mechanics and I like the story but can’t give 2 -blam!-s about lore because Bungie changes it to fit their future narratives.
