I hear what you are saying but, participation awards are the stupidest thing ever invented. No effort, just a prize for showing up. Its softened the entire population, everyone thinks they deserve something for just being there. As a kid, going to a birthday party, you brought a present for the birthday kid, now.. kids expect a little bag of goodies for going to someone's birthday, WTF. Participation trophies to everyone so nobody feels left out.. -blam!- THAT NOISE, earn it and learn to deal with defeat and try harder next time. YEah, got a bit far from Destiny with that rant but, it bothers me that people think something just for showing up is warranted. If you like the game enough you will play when you can, be it a little or a lot, if you want something in that game, you go earn it, you bust your ass in the time you have to get it. You make choices and those choices impact your player. Some people can play alot and others very little. There is no need to have the incentive of free stuff to draw players to the game its sad that so many people think that is a great idea.
