Okay Bungie, you win!
Okay Bungie, you win. I've played over 2,000 hours Since Foresaken and I can't even tell you how many times I have done Spider Bounties and I have yet to get THE LORD OF WOLVES! It is the only non-Season of the Drifter exotic that I don't have and it never drops regardless of how many Spider bounties I do.
I also give up on catalysts. Okay, I'll never get the Mida Multi-Tool because I'll never get to the Legend Ranking in Competitive (I'd rather pull out my eye with a dull spoon), but I have every other one currently available but the only one I can't complete is WORLD LINE ZERO. I'm missing one boss, the sword doesn't tell me which boss (EVEN AFTER ALL THIS TIME) and I have done each boss for 3 months in a row trying to get it to proc and nothing. At least if you listed the bosses I could beat my head over the task for hours until it happened, but right now, you win, I've spent enough time trying to get it.
Still, haven't got the SPARROW, GHOST, or SHIP from the Dreaming city and I faithfully did the required activities every week since launch.
Now, with NO STORY content in the last two DLCs and nothing to grind for to WANT to get to 700 quickly (LIKE A NEW RAID) the new DLC holds nothing for me. Solo queuing Gambit sucks balls and even with a team it really isn't that fun. Sure, I'll eventually get to 700 but I don't feel the need to go balls to the walls to get there. Ironically I had over 30 bounties per character that dropped powerful rewards just waiting for Season of the Drifter to drop so I could level quickly and if you hadn't nerfed that I would be now pouring over every possible bounty to prepare for another 30 plus powerful bounties per character for Joker's Wild. Instead, I have no desire to play or grind Season of the Drifter at all.
Casual play of a raid or two and Dreaming City activities will net me level 700 in 3-5 weeks and without a real need to get anywhere fast and the lack of any kind of reason to play and the REWARDS left up to random R&G I am quickly losing interest in this game, as are many of my friends.
So I give up Bungie. Congratulations. YOU WIN. You took a fun game and sucked so much of the life from it with impossible R&G, no story content/missions in DLCs, A -blam!- amount of Cores and resources to level gear, no random rolls for year one armor, crappy solo queuing for Gambit and Crucible, that even I, one of your biggest defenders, have lost interest in your game.
YOU WIN, I'M DONE!

53 RespuestasI am in the top 1% of players with the most in-game hours and I have this advice to give: Destiny 2 seems to reward you less if you play a lot. I have found that if I take a break after playing 6-8 hours a day for what was at one point weeks at a time and come back to the game that I will have a massively increased item drop rate. By taking a break I mean that you should not play for at least 24-48 hours. Try this out. Hopefully it will work for you as well as it has for me. A single example I can provide was that the very first time I took a 48 hours break I came back to the game and got three exotics in 2 hours of gameplay. I now do this regularly as it improves not only my drop rates but my enjoyment of the game itself. This could all just be coincidence but other people that I have played with have reported similar experiences with their drop rates within seemingly all game modes. Good luck. Have fun.

8 RespuestasI think this guy has hit the nail on the head. People for the most part dont stop playing Destiny because they hate it, I think its more they become disillusioned with it. I did every powerful bounty, multi raids every week, grinded strikes and NFs for random rolls and after hundreds (thousands?) of hours in Forsaken I still dont have the One Eyed Mask. It simply becoms frustrating and you end up feeling that the game isnt worth your time if it wont reward your efforts. SayNoToRage goes on about this all the time so they must be aware this is a problem and yet they choose to do nothing about it.

RNG* stands for Random Number Generator not R&G Also, is the Reckoning not sorta like a differently structured Raid? For me that's what I'm motivated towards getting to 700 for. I wanna do Reckoning, althought I agree, I do wish there was a Raid or something as well, but personally I like Gambit Prime enough that I'm willing to take the Reckoning as my endgame PvE activity in it's place.

Agreed, you can give up your family and friends and it’s a 99% you’ll never get the one or two items you need to get a triumph or seal or pinnacle weapon. Thanks Bungie, well done. I would recommend this game to any parents if the want them to have a life!

I’m going back to D1. D2 died

Dude did you really just call RNG "R&G"?

1 RespuestaHey bro, I guarantee the only boss you need is the Orge. you've got to hit on the back. The catalyst progression drops when a certain amount of DPS is achieved, (about 1k). It is NOT RNG. The ONLY way to DPS is on his back. So blink on to his back. and heavy swing immediately! You should do upward of 1.3k damage. This took me FOREVER. And I finally did it with the last of my ammo, and is was the killing blow too lol

Bongo got a win...yaaaaaayyyyyyy.

Sorry, you’re whining about what now? You being unable to act like an adult and make decisions for yourself? Well, that sounds like a “you” problem to me.

If you freeze the spoon it won't hurt as much, plus, your eye will probably stick to it, making placing it in a jar much easier.

Sorry way to much to read here I skimmed it saw it was about no LoW

Yep, Shattered throne Ship still missing to get the Cursebreaker seal. Sooooooo much fun waiting 3 weeks and running a 3 characters every time to NOT get a legendary ship that looks ugly. It's kinda amazing you can run a nightfall until you can get its exclusive drop. But since the Shattered throne is considered a raid one per character per month? Even other Raids have greater opportunities in a month of play for exotic drops??? Whats up with that???
-
Lmao same, im missing low too

Editado por Cranberry: 3/13/2019 2:07:25 AMI feel the same way. The thing I hate most in this game (that no one seems to be addressing) is locking you out of trying for said item for a certain amount of time, usually a week. Prime example, these past couple of weeks I've been trying for Jotuun, seeing as I love the design of the weapon and love how it looks. Yet because I only get 3 tries a week, totaling up to 12 tries a month, it has evaded me. It's alright to make something have a low chance of dropping, but don't also lock it behind a certain amount of tries per week. That's just insulting at that point.
-
Bruh 2000 hours???, I think bungie was trying to tell you to take a walk outside for once.😂😂😂😂
-
Take a break from Destiny. Don't login for a week or two. Usually I do a lot of least two weeks without logging in then jump in and do a few powerful bounties and I always get exotic drops. I tried this method two times and it worked both time. First time I got 3 exotic the first day I logged backed in 2 new and 1 dup. The second time I tried it recently and same thing. After grind app last season for OEM I didn't log back in then the first day I come back OEM dropped.

Yeah the RNG is so broken. I STILL haven’t had the normal gambit auto rifle, Hazard of the Cast, and I’ve painfully played enough gambit to reset my Infamy rank 4 times over! So now I can’t get Dredgen title until that one gun drops. Its such thoughtless design in so many areas of this game its mind blowing.
-
Oh I feel your pain on the RNG... took me forever to acquire the missing two braytech weapons to earn warfarer title... I have over 1200 hours. I am also missing lord of wolves which I practically gave up on ever seeing drop
-
I second that, even if my case is different, i dont have as many hours in the game, far from it, but none the less it has started feeling like a chore since BA came out, then this Season of The PvP... err i mean Drifter just made me, Bah! ill skip it, just come and do the Thorn and leave again. Now as i was looking at how to start the quest i saw the steps, find the hunk of metal? ok fine, Get materials A, B and C? ho a option to skip the PvE side of the thing for the PvP fans? not my thing but cool quality of life touch. PvP step, ok lets see the options...umm wait where are the options? sooo one crowd gets the choice to do what they like and not what they dont but the other gets a FK You? ho nice catering there. Bye Destiny, i see where it wants to go and its not not for me, have fun guardians.

2 RespuestasRegarding Worldline Zero the one EP boss that was problematic was the Ogre you have to hit on his back. There was talk at the time that you needed to hit him with the Tesseract special attack but just spam him with as many regular hits as you can. Eventually he will drop the required item, unfortunately getting this one was RNG! Obviously I can't be sure but i'd bet this is the one you are missing. Now we have the repeat EP level six mechanic you won't need to replay the whole event either! Good Luck.

Bro 2000 hours?! Go get some sun. Put the game down for a bit. I usually take 2 months off play other things and come back.... magically my rng is great then and I have fun. This isn’t your job
