they go away once you have gotten them . plus the engrams drop on the ground or go to the post master

I was intentionally working on delirium and the oxygen while also hoping for a prime engram, but it the attunement just disappeared while my post master had remained empty the whole time. It was like poof no more attunement and no prone engram to show for it

Did you get an exotic in that time? Believe they count toward your attunement.
