Thorn... Again (sigh)
Dear Bungie,
If you don't allow Guardians the benefit of taking all of our weapons and gear into Destiny 3...
We're not falling for the 'Banana in the Tailpipe' Again!
With the return of Thorn, Destiny 2 could've just let us bring Thorn over from D1 to begin with!
Did I mention how much of a Pain in the Grind, Thorn was to attain in D1?!
D2 is now, just a polished up D1 with the return of Thorn.
Now, I'm guessing that Icebreaker or Ghorn's gonna eventually make a return in D3.
Just transfer all of the weapons to the next release already.
This is like, a bad relationship.
You've lied before Bungie and we forgave you.

This is actually the 3rd time Thorn has had to be obtained. Bungie couldnt be bothered to write a new weapon into the game? No forward progress in the story? Dont try to tell me it's because players have an attachment to those older weapons. If it meant that much to Bungie, they would have made good on giving us our gear from the first game.

Truth. I mean, they could make a new weapon called Rose that had perks that tied with Thorn, that way we would have new exotics that built off of the past ones. Or since they were able to link raid achievements from D1 to a D2 account that they could unlock the weapons from D1 to make things connect.

Nothing else to do. What grind gambit to play more gambit? I don’t understand why they keep recycling D1 items instead of transferring the weapons. I had all these in D1. I’m not wasting time doing meaningless shit to get it again just for them to remove it in D3 all again.

You know the one that reforged G-horn back in RoI, but wasn’t able to recreate any of my D1 gear. You can bring back the dead, but can’t... What the -blam!- ever! Here’s a line from Bungie (they probably never said this)... Sorry we wrecked all of your shit, but we’ve got some cool quests coming up so you can get SOME of your stuff back. I see where ur getting at, but there’s a reason it’s comin back, we’ll know soon enough, the quest steps have already been leaked it’s no different than the rat king quest except that it doesn’t require anyone else to be with u, and there’s no progress penalty like TLW which is nice
