Like alot of people last season I was pushed away from Destiny by one major flaw in the endgame and that was the Powerful Reward "Tier System". Now as someone who owns the Annual Pass I could do the "High Tier" content like the forges to level in no time but I wanted to get to at least 640 before doing so. However there was one major roadblock that being the neutered Powerful Rewards, activities that were great for power leveling in Forsaken were gone which was not only bad for people who do not own the Annual Pass but also the guys with the Annual Pass wanting to use old content to prepare for the new stuff on multiple characters.
The Tier System is good in theory as it rewards End Game players with better power increases depending on the activity but it became flawed with Black Armory as stuff like Crucible, Gambit, Story and Strike power drops felt boring, repetitive and slow. Most likely due to fatigue from grinding those very same activities for 2-3 months on end.
I hope we can go back to the Destiny 1 style of having EVERY end game activity give equal power rewards. Because not everyone wants to have odd looking armor and feel like their perks are being messed around with. In Forsaken that was alright because because everyone was experimenting with the new Rolls on Weapons and Armor but as someone who has played Destiny even its most grindy of times the Tier system is what drove me away from a game series I love, and I hope Joker's Wild respects player time and the guys like me who want to enjoy the end game once more.
Do any of you guys have issues with the Tier system and if so upvote and leave a comment on how Bungie can mold the powerful drops to be something far for all players.
