What I found really cool was that there are even blueprints for the masterwork items (and legendary?, idk). So if you get a masterwork that you really like but it becomes under leveled compared to your other items, you can just craft yourself another one after finishing the challenge for that weapon. I fell this is more fun and engaging than the infusion system Bungie has had since HoW.

  • Its a nice min-maxing touch. But BioWare can do it, because the game's weapon system has enough depth to allow it, without damaging the loot grind. Destiny's gear system is too shallow and too simple to permit this. The Forge grind was an interesting workaround....that's been fun to play.... But its a blend of a bounty system and a crafting system.
