I started playing Destiny 2 with my brother a few weeks ago. After a week we bought the Forsaken bundle and continued the journey and yesterday reached 650.
We have had a very good time and enjoy the core gameplay but have some feedback that I would hope Bungie will at least read:
1. Why is almost everything so hidden? I have to use Google a lot to figure out what this item does or where to go for a quest since the game doesn't really tell you anything. When we were doing the campaign we had quest markers we could mark up on the map but after that we get things in the inventory (some time's it's a consumable, other it's a pursuit, or a mix like Offering To The Oracle that is a consumable that is in the pursuit tab?!)
There is no consistency here, have all the quests in one easy place and at least some better indication on where to go or what to do.
2. Another thing you hide are stats, instead you write things like "Slightly", "Enhanced" etc and I don't see any reason why. The only stat's I can see on my character are mobility, resilience and recovery but what a 2 means other than it's lower than a 3.
3. Not everyone enjoys Crucible, don't put the best loot behind a PvP grind. (I could be wrong here but that's the impression I got)
4. Not everyone enjoys jumping puzzles, don't put them in every dreaming city place and call it a challenge because you can't be bothered to do anything else.
5. Remove the current shader system and just have it so I can select any shader I have acquired when checking my gear. And if I already have a shader when it drops give me the glimmer/dust for it directly so I don't have to do extra steps to clear up space.
6. Add a transmog function like Diablo 3 have. I don't want to look stupid just because it's the best gear I have.
7. The UI is just shit, I get that it works on console but on PC it's horrible. And why can't I see my fireteams health somewhere? I can cook a healing grenade and throw at them as a warlock but how will I know when they need it?
8. Skilltree could also need some 2019 improvement's and actually let us create builds. I have seen some good examples from other people.
9. It should feel rewarding to play. I get that it's random loot but when doing some random heroic events and just getting a blue item and some glimmer just doesn't feel right.
I hope things will improve now that you are out of Activision and perhaps have more control of what you deliver. On a side note, I work as a software tester for many years and I could be a bit nitpicky since it's my profession.

2 RespuestasYou forgot Matchmaking sucks, DDOS sucks, lag-switches suck, RNG sucks, armor design sucks, rewards suck, losing penalties suck, and PvP balance sucks. Other than that, it's great.

2 RespuestasI agree on the shader issue and the good ole fashion everything is hidden. Believe me however.... when it comes to Crucible. You WILL find a good gun that competes with LH and NF, and by god you will enjoy the hell out of the mode.
-
What is so hidden? Only the raid stuff/whisper and possible rolls on weapons were stuff I needed to google. You have markers for every guest on your map no? Exeption would be Whisper and Xur's appearance. I haven't played in a while, but I'm pretty sure that is on you.

Completely agree with what you have posted, I picked up Destiny 2 Base game over the holidays when they gave it away free, liked the story and PvE enough that I got the expansions when they went on sale. I HATE the crucible however, Its a poorly balance poorly explained mess (Like how I can get credit for a headshot kill only for the guy to complete his melee kill me in one hit after he apparently died) Locking loot behind modes and forcing players to play them is not even remotely customer friendly or good for long term business. Give players options of something like, Kill X players with precision in Crucible matches or X number of Bosses in missions with precision. Let the players play what they want to play to earn their rewards. forcing them to play what they don't builds resentment and decreases the odds of player spending. An unhappy player is a non supporting player after all.

It's ridiculous. It's a looter shooter. Loot is defined by stats. No stats = lackluster loot very, very quickly (because they all end up looking the same, and or, not noticeable enough to feel the effects). Games like Path of Exile and Warframe might be overwhelming at first... but my god it feels good to ACTUALLY SEE WHAT TF I'M INVESTING MY CHARACTER INTO. Rather than bumbling around 'hoping' I'm getting the most bang for my buck in terms of rolls and perks (in the areas I want). -- For instance, 'Increased solar resistance on armor, level 1/5' Okay... that means nothing to me. How much? How much will I get at level 5/5? Will it be substancial, or is that a waste of cores? I'm not going to invest cores into 2 f*cking points of solar dmg reduction. Hence why I haven't MW a single piece of armor since Forsaken... (I know how MW armor works for super resistance, but I have no idea how viable it actually is in PvE for general use)

The UI being shit comment is a little off the mark but I agree with pretty much everything else. Number 1 especially, it’s like they thought it’d be a great idea to hide information in Destiny 2. It’s not. It’s not a great idea at all, Bungie.

2 RespuestasI hear Anthem is a bare bones shooter that even the biggest village idiot could enjoy. Right up your alley I think. Why not give that game a shot?
-
7 RespuestasHow did you reach 650 in a few weeks?
-
1 RespuestaGood points, but the best loot from PvP is meant for PvP. While Redrix is pretty good outside of Crucible and mediocre in it, that’s just due to a meta that doesn’t cater to slow firing weapons like Redrix. Luna’s Howl is great in and out of PvP, however there are even better options in PvE, and frankly more fun, besides a grind worthy gun.
-
Well said. Great constructive post. Don’t listen to the idiots ripping you apart
-
This guy gets it.🤗
-
Good feedback.
-
Cracks me up that you guys are missing all the valid points this guy is making. And most ppl end up talking like a reddit tuat. When the topic is tomatos and everybody talks about potatos. Go back to reddit.
-
This is a good constructive post. I hope D3 takes these points into account.

15 Respuestas
3. Not everyone enjoys Crucible, don't put the best loot behind a PvP grind. (I could be wrong here but that's the impression I got)
Now if we switched this to “Not everyone enjoys PvE, don’t put the best loot behind it. Why can’t I play crucible for raid loot?” The community would lose their shit. There is a large community that likes PVP and we can’t have our own loot just because you don’t like it? One of the dumbest arguments on this forum.
4. Not everyone enjoys jumping puzzles, don't put them in every dreaming city place and call it a challenge because you can't be bothered to do anything else.
Also stupid
-
To address #3: not everyone enjoys crucible becuase it is the only activity in the game with a noticible skill gap. D2 players are generally lazy PvE gods so forcing them to play any amount of pvp upsets them.

Editado por GRAVEL: 2/25/2019 5:41:26 PMOh just wait, the funs just begining!
-
Even though I do not have those pvp weapons and want them by no means would I expect them to hand them to me. Look at World of warcfraft which I think is modeled well having tons of gear. If you want wrathful gladiator gear or the title gladiator. Then get in the arena play comp and grind for it. If you want access to the whole game play the whole game. Most people I see talking about wanting access to gear don’t even raid either. The game should not cater for the casual because then it sacrifices its soul

Sounds like the day one feedback.

3 RespuestasThats actually some critics to work with. Not somebody just crying over one eyed mask ;) I get all your points and as a veteran player I would totally love to see some of the possible improvements to gameplay you mentioned above. There is still a lot of stuff Bungie has to work on. For example my friend, who purchased Destiny 2 recently, couldnt proceed with his story, because one of those Black Armory open world bosses sat directly on the entrance to a story quest he had to do and kept oneshotting him. I don't think he is the only newer player who struggled with those bosses - since they spawn near to open world event as well...But yeah: Hope bungie gets shit done and makes this game more enjoyable ^^

6 RespuestasPlease stop with the “new player impressions”. You shouldn’t start playing a game a year and a half after it’s launch. Also on the fact that “everything is hidden”, it’s partly an rpg game. Not everything is immediately revealed to you. You actually have to PLAY THE GAME

1 RespuestaMore warlock talk... TITAN SHOULDER CHARGE........SLAP.

Yes a way to cover how your armor with other armor is great

I actually agree
