Suspension =/= Ban
It doesn't matter why your internet sucks. If you consistently play on a bad connection you're hurt the experience for everyone involved.

Please explain how a one time appeal impacts you whatsoever so you defend a broken system? I want to see this. My examples even had room for situations where NO ONE BUT YOU is hurt.
-
I believe there should be a ban appeal system and a warning system
-
Yes. An appeal system doesn’t hurt anyone if the person no longer has a problem and can be cross-referenced with PVE matchmaking and connection after a crucible ban
-
-
Because again, Ban =/= Suspension.
-
the person may not know the cause of the issue but in most cases they can see there is an issue if not the 2 week restriction will give them a chance to get it figured out. There is no need to appeal a restriction, fix the issue and it is done. Bungie has offered their troubleshooting and set up guides and properly advised if all else fails contact your ISP, which if it nearly any of the above situations would rectify the issue or at least the customer would understand the cause.
Your neighbour installs a new router without you knowing. Your router is AUTOMATICALLY set to guess its own settings. Your router thinks that the same settings as your neighbour’s are fine. (This is called Wireless Channel).
In this example, there are 2 inherent flaws. One by default WiFi routers are set to automatic channel locator, which the router finds the best available channel, so your neighbor's would see congestion and find another channel. In the even there was not a clear enough channel available, we would default to the first set in nearly all online gaming network set up guides and that is to use hardline not wifi for gaming.

Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 2/13/2019 11:36:51 PMFalse. Router’s default to channel 1 for 2.4GHz and in many situations can’t tell channel 1 is congested. Again. Troubleshooting something invisible means trial and error. Not one and done. No company in the world, not even completely different one’s like a car mechanic, guarantees first guess always right. What about the other examples I wrote about or didn’t write about? How does 1 appeal hurt you?
-
your information is incorrect. I have setup dozens of routers for home and business purposes and in the settings they have all been configured to automatic. Maybe the ones your telco provided were different but the ones I have set up, every one was set that way as a default, Linksys, Netgear, Asus, IP Link, TP Gear, each one already set up. Even if you still dispute this, it is a moot point if they follow the instructions and use a hard line.

Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 2/13/2019 11:44:34 PMAgain. Stop focusing on 1 out of hundreds of possibilities that have nothing to do with wireless. Don’t think “dozens” can show you the same problems as our millions of modems every information. If what you are even saying is true, you should already know ISP’s have tools, info and knowledge, you will never have access to.
-
You are presenting your information as fact, I issued a counter to that fact. You claim :
System is fake, and can’t determine if you actually have bad connection, or if it’s something that has nothing to do with you.
This is patently false. Bungie can in fact tell if you have a bad connection, what they cannot do is tell you why you have one. They can see there is lag and missing packets, it is part of the network monitoring. All of your examples are reasons one could have a bad connection, if it is literally any of them (and the hundreds more) that caused your issue, Bungie was spot on.
-
Your ignorance isn’t my loss.
-
as I stated, you cannot defend your premise that the system is a fake as your own points prove otherwise. Good day to you,
-
Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 2/14/2019 12:04:26 AMAgain. Your ignorance is not my loss. You riding on things you can’t know, just means, I wouldn’t hire you, my company would never hire you, and I feel bad for anyone that does. I.T.s like you call our call centres pretending they know stuff but just get schooled instead cause they have no access to our information behind our security walls and never seen our hundreds of tools. Pick a new line of work big guy.
-
Well it’s not your company as you stated, you quit. So you would not be doing the hiring.
-
Yes. You are right. And I have no logical argument.
-
You work in a call centre is all I needed to know. Stick to what your script tells you to say.
-
Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 2/14/2019 12:06:23 AMI said “call our call centres”. I didn’t work in a call centre. One comment, you proved my every point. Making an untrue assumption based on your own misinterpretation. Thank you.
-
I can tell by your whole tone of the post and conversation, you deflect and cannot support any of your claims, just like a call rep without a script. Your post starts with Bungie cannot tell if your connection is bad and then you proceed to list reasons why your connection is bad. If Bungie restricted you for any of those reasons, it is valid, as your connection would have been bad. Carry on wayward gamer, carry on.
-
I’m not reading anything you have to say when you already proven my point in one comment of pure false assumption.
-
and proven your whole premise factually inaccurate
-
Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 2/14/2019 1:32:16 AMI have people messaging me laughing at you that you keep saying the same thing over and over again no matter how irrelevant it is to my comments. No one cares what you think you are. Shut up about wireless already in an argument that has points that have nothing to do with wireless.
-
Editado por TuxyDoh: 2/14/2019 1:32:52 AMOkay, good on you. There are others, who have posted publicly stating how wrong you are. So, to each their own. Good luck with your band of merry people, who cannot see that you have no ground to stand on.
-
Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 2/14/2019 1:39:20 AMStill laughing at how awful you are at your job arguing things you can’t ever see.
One person arguing something YOU SAID WAS WRONG and stopping when I proved them wrong, is NOT “people” commenting that I am wrong somehow. SUCKS TO SUCK
-
I am not arguing anything I cannot see. Your statement was bungie cannot tell your connection is bad, that is not accurate. They can see that your connection has higher latency and missing packets than the others connected to it. Your whole argument is based on since the customer does not know they should not be held accountable. Your points of bungie not being able to see where your ip's location is irrelevant, they do not need to see know your home address to see you are dropping packets. I can see you clearly are just making posts for attention and bait, and have nothing to support any of your claims, so at this point I bid you farewell.
