Bungie have fun watching your fans leave and never come back, you destroyed your own game! And don’t even try and blame activism, it was all you! 7 days and I’m playing Anthem for a day and will never return to this whore mongering waste of a hell out that is “suppose” to be fun! Raids suck! PVE suck! PvP suck!!! Armor suck! Weapons suck! Good -blam!-ing luck

1 RespuestaLet’s just remember that Anthem is published by EA...
-
2 RespuestasAnthem will be garbage too. Little to no weapons, most kills are done by ability spam. The game looks like a confused andromeda dlc.
-
I don't necessarily agree with your statement, even as someone who will be playing Anthem. However....brace yourself.....Destiny fanboy lifer zombie neckbeard pimple drones are coming...
-
1 RespuestaLet’s be real… Anthem by itself won’t be the D2 “killer”. But if Anthem, The Division 2 and a combination of other games can bleed enough of the community away for an extended period of time, especially goin’ into Year 3 and D3; then I could definitely see the Destiny franchise goin’ into permanent decline.

7 RespuestasI'll admit it, I did pre-order anthem. Mistake? Maybe. But I at least want to give it a go and possibly have something else to play, aside from destiny. I can almost guarantee I'll be coming right back to destiny, though. I always do.

5 RespuestasPeople will love anthem at first and then when they get to the end game and realize you have to grind they will have the same complaints. People think they want a looter shooter but they constantly complain about concepts inherent to the genre

Lol 😂 EA it's gonna be pay to win

From what I've read regarding Anthem, it beats Destiny mechanically in every way that I know of. First, the Anthem devs specifically mentioned it has a Diablo-like loot game. You can minmax as much as you like with exact numbers. Compare that to Destiny's arbitrary stat meters like in Destiny designed to obfuscate the specifics, minimal item randomization (choice of sights, choice of ammo, and 2 random affixes for instance), and mobile-worthy "power level" that doesn't even make you more powerful - instead only existing as "you must have this power level or get completely roflstomped, because arbitrary content gating". Next, Anthem claims to be far superior in terms of character movement and maneuvering. Destiny is far behind a lot of the competition in that regard. There's no twitch-dodging, glide is often clunky and even "strong momentum control" is laughably slow to adjust. Landing against an angle causes characters to bounce, and 98% of the time that isn't what you want. Compare that with Anthem where characters get jetpacks built in and I assume they handle far better than anything a Guardian could ever manage. Bonus points if Anthem has no annoying obsolete jump puzzles thrown in with combat-oriented general PvE content. I don't know what the classes and character progression will look like in Anthem, although it's safe to assume they will be an improvement compared to the joke character build choices in Destiny 2, most of which don't make a difference 70% of the time since they're on cooldown. With that said, I disagree with the OP on 2 points: #1 unconstructive post saying "D2 is garbage", "this sucks", "that sucks" - with no specifics; and #2 "Anthem will make Bungie stop developing D3". On #2, I would argue the contrary. Many people blame Activision for the dumbing-down and mobile-ification of games under their control (the same is happening with World of Warcraft and Diablo right now, and the fans hate it). Bungie can start adding far more complexity after splitting from Activision, hopefully to compete with Anthem. I will be extremely amused if Blizzard splits away from Activision next. As much as I'd like to jump ship and play Anthem instead, there are 2 reasons why I (probably) won't: The first being Origin's history of privacy concerns earlier this decade (you can read more on the Wikipedia article), and the second being EA's history of greedy toxic microtransaction-monetization. Anthem is a good thing for the genre, simply because it shakes up what was previously a largely stagnant duopoly: Warframe for mechanical depth, grinding, and item/loadout minmaxing; Destiny 2 for simple character progression, grinding being largely optional, and extremely limited opportunity for minmaxing keeping everyone at roughly the same power level. The problem is outside of these, there isn't much of anything else in the genre. Anthem adds a new competitor, the first of its kind to include a full Diablo-like gearing system, which could draw players away - forcing Destiny and Warframe to improve or fall behind. FYI: I used to play Warframe, then stopped and uninstalled. Over the years, the devs (Digital Extremes) stopped listening to any kind of good feedback and there were hordes of misery-mongers who camped out on the forums specifically to downvote and obstruct any good suggestion. Every reasonable suggestion I ever made was flamed out of existence by people who obviously didn't read it. The last straw was when honestly asked why the developers wouldn't listen to numerous requests from ~60-70% of players for common-sense essential improvements and was rewarded with a penalty mark for "dev bashing" - a 100% false accusation lodged only because I asked the tough and fair questions with no personal insults whatsoever. After that I uninstalled Warframe and pledged never to go back no matter what.

You say everything sucks but you still log in everyday to play. Weird.
-
Oh thank God, piss off you sodding casual.
-
When Anthem is released. We expect you to delete everything in your vault and all characters. Also leave your clan.

Later scrubby!

Cool. Have a nice time, go and plague anthems forums please. Destiny is done with you
-
I swear i read a post like this for every new game thats out

1 RespuestaHahaha what a clown. How many games were supposed to "kill" destiny. And EA's record with AAA games is really great! Fat chance, go troll somewhere else.
-
1 RespuestaAnthem looks ok. But KH3 is what is gonna take my time up now

-
2 RespuestasDestiny has 2 years left.
-
You relize they are two completely different games right? One is a gun play game with some abilities the other is abilities with a small amount of gun play. From everyone that's played it has compared it to division more then anything. It's funny cause any big release comes out and the forums get flooded with posts like yours. No research done no proof to baxk up what they say. If you don't like the game that's fine. But there is a player base that will play this game til the servers shut down... give it a rest.
-
D2 is not garbage, the reason why you think so is because you are garbage.
-
Anthem will be fun for a week or two, then probably be a poopshow for a year or so as bioware/ea deal with the steep learning curve associated with console mmorpgs. Bungie hasn't gotten a year 1 right yet.
-
Weirdly, Anthem is already available at 40% off via ShopTo. Bit early to be putting it in the sales I would have thought.

Bye Felishia👋

Anthem is 3rd perso some people don't like pushing a character around the screen It will make a dent but it ain't gonna kill it. Oh yea and it's made by EA, and you thought Activision was bad.
