I get it, but it's kinda like the ethical arguement for vegetarianism. "Dont eat meat!" There's still going to be people that eat meat. People ground out (or payed for) Not Forgotten and Luna, not to mention if they have a top tier gun like that used against them, what kind of sense does it make to just let yourself get trounced because you want to be different?

I do when other people decide to pull up with theirs. 😉 And the matter of Ace is different depending on the platform. On console? It's okay, and still better for teamshots than Luna/NF. On PC however, you'd literally get laughed out of the platform for thinking Ace required skill, because it's apparently the easiest thing to use on the planet, especially compared to a Luna.

As geekermon often says, quit using drb, nf/luna every match. Have some fun and mix it up. People as so sweaty anymore. Try some new combos for god sake.

People are taking this so wrong. Yeah you can use Luna but it's quickplay. Why br a tryhard in a casual playlist? I don't have a lot of fun running my Luna with my toil in quickplay. Seal clubbing gets boring quickly.

You are complaining that people have better guns than you but dont go and get said guns. Dont even try to defend you position of the fact that "a gun exists and I dont like so dont use it" quickplay is fun and relaxing because I can use the loadout I want. I have the lunas I have a dust rock and I have a master worked wardcliff. They are all in my inventory. I use them when I want where I want. Go back to managing to lose rumble with telesto.

I see why people want SBMM back just as I see why people don't want it. That being said, I'm sort of leaning towards wanting SBMM back myself if for no other reason than I'm tired of seeing so many people with not forgotten. Luna's is one thing but if someone has not forgotten, they are way out of my league. In a fair fight, I don't stand a chance in hell of winning and am then forced to clutch my special weapon and pray that I don't die to them. Last night playing in the crucible I played against at least 8 different players with not forgotten. One had the emblem that tracks your glory rank and had 5400. What. The. -blam!-. Why? Why should anyone have to play against that? I get that sweaties want to have fun too but why the hell should that mean everyone else suffers because they wanna show off and curb stomp people they have no business playing with OR against? All I ask is for a fair game. That means minimal lag, no cheating and not having to face people way above my skill bracket every second god damn game. Was that a rant? Yes. Was it salt fuelled? Yes. Did I raise a good point though? I'd like to think so. Keep in mind I'm not just saying we should have SBMM. I understand both sides and I'm still on the fence however it's frustrating as hell that I can't enjoy PvP properly for so many reasons. Hit through walls by supers, spawn killed/camped, the dead cliffs and it's shitty heavy ammo spawn that heavily favours one side and getting pummeled by people I don't stand a chance against with more consistency than Jötunn.

Reminds me of all the tf2 videos I watch. The same thing is said time and time again. Comp is for being serious. Hubs and so on are for fun. Ready the lobby and see what people are doing. If the lobby is more silly than don't be to serious and chill out. If the lobby is super serial than be the sweaty try that you are. So is it safe to say my assumption a few months ago was correct in say people that defend comp PvP as much as they do or try to defend meta's and so are those people still trying to relive there team fortress 2 days when a certain weapon destroyed everything or a certain loadout was better than other loadouts. I'm curious especially after this post

I run ace + long walk and a linear fusion in QP as much as possible. But if people play aidsey enough I pull out the luna/DRB/wardcliff and bag like theres no tomorrow. Generally speaking though, i have better games against noobs when using ace+long walk

Ugh, I know, I know - I [i]don’t[/i] need to use Luna’s in QP because not everyone is competing their motes off but I’m tired of having to play against Mask wearing Telesto’s and I wanna have as much fun as the next level 7 blueberry! Just a few more crispy three taps and I’ll use Suros Regime I promise!!
