Well, a very large portion, yes. If you actually play the game all you hear is people having fun and working together and chilling out. The forums are like a parallel universe where everyone complains (usually about one or two things that catch on) for attention. It's like the baby universe where all the babies come to be big babies.

I’m a solo player and the last time I put a team together for shattered throne, the two guys I was playing with were being very critical of the game. So, that busts your little made-up myth there. I know a lot of people somehow still have fun with the game but there’s a lot that genuinely don’t. I love Bungie enough to criticize them since I’ve been playing their games since CE and the people that want Destiny to be good will do the same.

I'm also (primarily) a solo player. Although I LFG and am in a clan so I play with lots of other people regularly. So the one time you played with other recently two guys complained? That's nothing compared to the dozens of randoms I've played with who love it. So I guess the myth stands. If you don't have fun go play another game. This kinda puzzle stuff is classic Bungie. Seems like it's just not for you. Maybe Fortnite is more your speed. Or Smash.

I’m glad you’re having fun with the puzzle. Extremely lame puzzle IMO. That’s just one instance yes but there is a lot of people that will blindly praise Bungie no matter how bad things are, and there are the people out there that will call them out honestly. You can’t say those are the only two people that critique the game, that’s just silly, but I can see people believing you which is unfortunate. It’s RNG if you’ll have fun in Destiny or meet the praisers or critiques outside of a clan, so I can’t or you can’t concretely say how the Destiny experience is or how people act.

Given the sales and the level of discussion online I'd say people are mostly having a good time. I'm not actually doing the puzzle but it's super cool to see other Guardians try it. I'm happy that others are doing cool things in a shared world. A world that is completely unique to Destiny. I get that some people, like, yourself, can't see the wider picture or enjoy a world that you're not the centre of at all times. But that's a limited way of seeing things. You're not the type of person Bungie is making the game for.

If you think people are happy then you must be ignoring everything on these forums, Reddit, and gaming news. I never said they’d make the game just for me. You’d be a great politician constantly putting words in my mouth BTW. I’m the type of person that likes to play content not watch, If you like to sit back and watch people do things then more power to you I guess. With a full-time job, college classes, and a family, this content wasn’t made for me, I agree; but I never had a problem with content in D1 and it sucks that I have nothing to do on my only day off to play.
