Jesus -blam!-ing Christ, it is impossible to play at this point, especially in the evening. Getting baboons every 10 minutes, Bungie please do something with servers already. Either baboon or Contacting Destiny 2 servers all the time. Hate your freaking zoo already. And please do not refer me to your troubleshooting pages because it did not help. Seriously, i want to enjoy the game, especially love art and music, but if the situation won't change I'll have to go back to overwatch.

1 RespuestaEditado por Just Dan: 12/19/2018 6:30:44 PMBaboon is packet loss, so it is on your side of the service. "Your connection" is everything between your console and the game service - plus - everything between your console and the players' consoles on the map, so you would have to test all those connections to actually say you tested your internet. Pretty much everything that has another player involved (fireteam or not) is P2P. Bandwidth matters less than packet loss and latency. My 25/3 connection could be, and likely is since I rarely see issues, more stable than your ??/xx connection. You need a persistent premium connection (low latency and zero packet loss) to play Destiny games. Most games do not, and most other games are not using the cloud tech that Destiny is. This premium connection must be maintained between the game world and all players involved. Therefore, any one person in a map could essentially affect the other(s) especially in PvP. Lots of different things can contribute to issues causing baboon. You start in house and work your way out testing to each level. Test internally, test to your provider, test to servers on the west coast, test to bungie.net, test to servers located where other players are located, etc. You may need to get your provider involved to test while playing, or come out to investigate levels etc. I had an issue last year that was caused by squirrels chewing on the insulation of the wires outside. Once they replaced the wiring to the house and in the back lane, everything was back to normal again. Bungie cant fix packet loss detection.

1 RespuestaTwice this morning got returned to orbit during gambit matches, my connection speed test shows 66.5 Mbps. So when this keeps happening and I get warnings for quitting matches it's my fault and need to check my internet connection....FIX YOUR DAMN SERVERS! How about dedicated servers, oh wait that would cost YOU money. Cant make the playing experience better for us if it costs You anything.

Ive been having this issue this morning as well, havent been able to play anything with being kicked to orbit or back to the title screen, but as much as we complain bungie wont respond, and if they do itll just be some copy and paste question with no future follow up when you answer.
