Frankly I don't understand why Bungie decided to make snipers a regular weapon but in crucible it isnt too bad. However the fact that invaders have knowledge of where you all are and the size of the maps makes snipers almost impossible to deal with, since the only main way to counter them is sniping them (which is against you since they have over-shield and know when you are about to peek them and it forces you to play a exact way which imo is poor design. Please fix this, gambit is a brilliant mode but is almost totally ruined by this infuriating issue.
