End of January is not fast enough im afraid. Since BA launched the pvp population is dying at an alarming rate.. losing about 200-300k out of 1 million in two weeks.
If you dont balance crucible faster im pretty sure you will have only 200k left across all platforms by January, and most of those lost players wont be back.
You haven't balanced anything since the launch of Forsaken. How the hell can an online shooter this big take 5 months to update the sandbox? wtf?

3 RespuestasHand Cannons are fine Autos need way more body damage SMGs need way more body damage Shotguns actually need a slight range boost Snipers need way less flinch and maybe 1 more ammo Sidearms need way more body damage Fusions need more range and a tighter spread Swords need a little more ammo MG's need a little less ammo Rockets are fine Grenade Launchers need 1 less ammo Movement speed should be a little faster Radar shouldn't be permanent, it should ping every 3 seconds, or show people who are shooting

13 RespuestasNah. It's fine. This stuff takes some work to implement. To think everything should be sooner with all the changes coming, especially right after holidays... That's just being entitled. You can wait.

They need to dump this Sandbox team. They can barely even play the game themselves. It's been like that for years. Watching them play on stream is hilarious.
-
Remove Josh Hammrick and things would probably improve.
-
Agree, it's unreal. All other games update every week or so. Its like they quit trying. In d1 updates were slow but more frequent than now.

2 RespuestasD2 is dead. They are shifting resources to D3. Nothing good will come from D2 anymore.

Editado por AnTxJeTs: 12/18/2018 4:25:47 AMSince BA dropped I noticed a good 50%+ drop with buddies that played D2. Between the holidays, family and the money grab for this “season pass”. Even if it was free, I couldn’t bear to grind another 50 LL. More power for those who are pushing through with D2 in its current state. Crucible peaked in D1 for me. I tried to give it a few more months with D2 but this is just terrible. Devs/bungle dropped the ball for me when they excluded “inferno” playlist. Combo isn’t comp, it’s camp the radar and crouch. Snooze fest.... 💤 For all those who grinded Shaxx guns 💪, can’t bring them to D3 lol.

2 RespuestasDestiny 2 is a silly looking shotgun simulator.

Editado por michael: 12/17/2018 9:27:25 PMhot take, crucible is pretty balanced right now all things considered. some things could use buffs of course but everything is at least usable.

40 RespuestasEditado por ClovenTrack620: 12/16/2018 2:35:56 AMEasiest way to balance pvp atm 1: Buff weak asss Auto Rifles & Scouts 2: Nerf Broken OP handcannons, you already know which handcannons 3: Nerf Telesto, duh!! 4: Buff Year 1 Supers

Feels very balanced to me. I can practicaly go into matches and do well.

Opportunity Cost: The retention rate for crucible may be players being diverted to other activities. For instance, time may be better spent on grinding for powerful engrams. Forge, a new raid, gambit, and non-pvp pinnacle weapons are drawing players to other content. I rarely play QP much any more because my time is better spent on other activities for the time being. Crucible really is what you do when there isn't anything else to do. Exotic Drop Rates: Love it or hate it, this prevented a flood of "the best" exotics feeding into the meta. Imagine if most hunters received Galinor 2 weeks after forsaken. Imagine if you just received it now or haven't at all. Everyone needs a small amount of time to enjoy an OP exotic before its nerfed. Content Releases: Graviton Lance and Vigilence Wing fell out of popularity without a single nerf. With BA, I think they may have been expecting more variety of weapons to be introduced into the meta which would shift the balance. Too early to know. Distractions/Diversions: I think they were expecting the Luna's owners to chase after Mountaintop in the comp playlist. Keep them busy on something else. I think most Luna's owners are content with Luna's and the mountaintop isn't worth the effort - that's why its more frequent in QP now.

100 RespuestasEditado por OneTrueMandalor: 12/17/2018 2:36:03 AMShame that the vast majority of the playerbase has 0 knowledge as to how the process of game development actually works...as in, the game is not instantly fixed at the waving of a magic wand. Have some shred of patience and appreciate that they’re at least addressing these issues and working as best as they can towards improving the game for us. It just takes some time, that’s all. Edit: Don’t even bother replying anymore, nobody in the community listens anyways and nobody has reading comprehension.

8 RespuestasThis can’t possibly be true. I mean, the entire rationale Bungie fed us about why they had to completely throw out D1, scrap everything including our progress, and start “fresh” with this “sequel” using a “new” “engine” was because it would make updating and patching the game much faster and easier. ...right?
-
Because logic says that you shall release a DLC with updated to FIX everything. But Bungie and logic are not friends. We are literally on a broken record player. Bungie keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. I have said this countless times before. Destiny needs a complete overhaul. New engine, new RNG, new story, new characters, new subclasses etc etc. Bungie has to hire more top shelf developers who know what they are doing and just come back with some HEAT. D3 would be amazing if they gave it a brand new overhaul.
-
other companies patch their games way more often, I don't see why Bungie cant do the same
-
3 RespuestasShotguns do kind off need a rework aswell. Better handling/in air accuracy for less range? And ffs increase the spread on high RoF shotguns. If you want to use a forgiving shotgun, don't let it have good effective range on top of it.
-
4 RespuestasPVP had about 888K yesterday, over 850 the day before, and over 900 the day before that. Those are as good as or better numbers than the game has been holding over the last four months. Anyone can pick a single day and claim the sky is falling, but it’s really not, you’re just looking for some confirmation of your feelings. If you don’t like it, -blam!- it all and leave, who gives a shit if you’re in the minority.
-
PvE anyone? It’s far superior!
-
28 RespuestasLOL What a joke the pvp population has been dying since forsaken!! no SBMM in quickplay unbalanced guns and supers broken SBMM in comp.....
-
Maybe then they will stop having 80% of bounties pvp only. Since forsaken has launched I have done less and less and now refuse to do any pvp bounties or pvp for powerful gear. They really need to separate them so they can balance it better without ruining the pve side of the game. One should have no effect on the other.
-
4 RespuestasIt’s also December dude. It’s the busiest time of the year when you have family. Nearly every weekend for example I have to go to family or have the annual Christmas party at work or other chores. All my clan mates and friends feel the same. We can’t barely make time to raid or to play comp. I’m glad that the Dawning is not as time consuming as the Halloween event was.
-
11 RespuestasGuess it’s time to remove PvP from the game. Just add more PVE content instead and don’t worry about “balance”. That would actually solve a lot. We might lose a bunch of players, but as long as they keep the “servers” open, I’m cool with it.
-
2 RespuestasI've been saying it for years now they take too damn long to fix issues. For Bungie months will roll by without little to no updates will other game developers will drop 3 to 4 updates in a month for their games. Not to mention other developers are quick to address issues in their game. Not sure why Bungie is so slack but a change needs to be made.
-
Because we are dealing with a highly incompetent company (bungie). It also doesn’t help that Activision has activated full greed mode & is forcing its studios to cut costs as much as possible (including game fixes).
