The only thing Golden Gun needs is Super armor. I feel bad when I kill a Hunter who is locked in Golden Gun's activation animation in one hit. If he was using Blade Barrage or any other Super, I'd be dead.
What makes it worse is that since Golden Gun immediately activates (despite an animation lock), you won't respawn with it if you are killed mid-animation.

A OHK, hit scan, large hitbox, large aim assist, infinite range, long duration super should not have extra armor.

It is a very short duration, that makes it feel like it should be used in the middle of combat but you get insta killed when you pop it during a firefight.

Just saying hitscan and large hit box contradicts each other. Hit scan attacks do not have hit boxes, they use the targets hit box, so it is not larger then any other attack. Projectiles have hit boxes, since they are an actual object in game. Both have large aim assist. When I throw hammers my crosshairs still follow things. Both are also ohk. Yes gg has more range, but hammers have pleanty of range, and can just as easily take out target cross map. Especially on these smaller maps. Duration is a joke, right? GG has always been the shortest duration super. HoS wins by a large margin here. I see no reason to add armor to GG, but thoughtless statements like this are ridiculous.

Projectiles like hammers have hit boxes and the target hit boxes. The statement I quoted was just as accurate for hammers as it is gg. As in not at all.

It's a Roaming Super. It needs Super Armor to be viable. Otherwise it hits like a wet noodle VS other Supers while being made out of wet toilet paper.
