I'm in tears right now. I was 600light when the season started and have done all my weekly stuff on all my characters and still I can not open the Black Armory. I'm with my best stuff on 608 and I still can't open it. I was so hyped for this new experience my clan and live chat mates were stuck listening to my excitement for weeks to now having banned me from chats because of the slew of profanities because this event is so destiny logic... it makes no sense. It's now ruined the best thing about it. My friends are casual gamers and I'm one who grinds and carries the clan. But now I can't even unlock this they won't be getting to play any time soon and it feels like another time destiny cheated us out of hundreds of dollars and for what? Congrats on making a show of doing nothing for the casual player. Dropping the activity by 5 light did nothing to the enemies. The only people I've seen complete this are conveniently the ones who grind destiny for a living on YouTube. My friend is now maxed 596 which means she now has to wait AT LEAST another two weeks before even being close to the recommend level and since this took an extra week to drop she's now forfeited a whole month of this content. If this is how it's going to be moving forward with each season only being up for 3.5 months and you can't play the first month cause of catch up why bother? Again I can't even do this activity with two ransoms when she and I finally separated cause she felt she was holding me back. This wasn't the point of destiny. Bungle made a show of doing something so they could claim they'd listen to their fan base without doing anything at all for the casual player and it's disheartening. If you can drop it by five you can drop it by 10 in the first week... by only dropping it by five it gives the youtubers and players who make their living doing this great material while they attempt to save face with the rest of us and I'm tired of the lies and bull bungie. You don't care about us. All my excitement gone. There's no point in me logging in until next week cause even after all that I may not get the thing opened and then I'll be basically a month into this season with nothing to show for it. I'm so sad and frustrated and tired of you and your disappointments.
