While it woulda been nice to get new maps in pvp and maybe a strike. We did get forges we did get a raid lair and we got a new exotic questline. It was a premium content update not even a full dlc so to get that much was a blessing compared to other games that pull the premium content updates

I hear you! I too am a casual player and Destiny has always been my go to entertainment, but leveling my guardian is a real pain. I am still grinding to get my guardian to 550 and get through more of the dreaming city content. IMO Destiny has become more for the hardcore base which is fine if that is the direction BungieVision wants to go. Us casuals will be looking forward to other games like Anthem.
-
Im a casual and its not useless to me. I have smething to look forward to.

You're right, you didnt have any good points. I say that cause you clearly ignored bungie saying this expansion wouldnt be like previous expansions, including not having story missions, not being released all at once, only being a add-on to forsaken, etc. You ignored all that and expected something else, and when you didnt get it, you complain. Also, leveling up is not hard, so i wish you and others would stop using that as an excuse. Just be honest and say you dont want to level up, while also being able to beat the new things at whatever level you at. Cause that's what a lot of these posts are boiling down to.

1 RespuestaRIP to the casuals bye byeee

4 RespuestasThis point goes towards hardcore players as well. I play almost on a daily basis, as BA launched, all my characters were 600 light level. On launch day, I was only able to get as far as being able to launch the forge. Can't even defeat the forge. Casual players are not alone on the frustration. So far, only people I know that were able to get past the forge are people who have no jobs or content creators. Speaking as someone who has a job and other responsibilities but makes time for the game anyway, I am just as frustrated. I look forward to seeing what the TWAB will say and how they will carry themselves while the community, as a whole, is beyond frustrated.
What a -blam!-ing scam. With all of the other DLC, you would progress with the story through fairly common drops. With this one though, it's like BOOM. -blam!- you, here's a giant wall to never climb over. For any new players who are around 500, trying to even access this DLC will be a -blam!-ing nightmare. The 500-600 grind is a bit bullshit. Not only that, but the lack of content is just frustrating. I expect SOMETHING to do besides what I've been doing for months now. Maybe a new strike as soon as it launches or something. Maybe a new area on a planet to explore? Nope. I may not have any good points, but I think many people agree with me when I say that this is absolutely bullshit.
This. 100% this. Screw you, Bungie. I didn’t pay extra $$$ for a goddamned grind fest. I wanted to do activities. Fix this shit now. Drop that down to 600 like it needed to. -blam!- this 615-610 shit.

7 RespuestasI'm sick of Bungie ripping off solo/casual players. Forsaken was meant to be the great turning point and it appears all the fireteam players loved it. I ended up spending so much time in the Dreaming City I amassed about 2.5 thousand 'Baryon Bough' (no I wasn't farming for it) and all that time I never found any others doing the Blind Well. Still haven't unlocked my other 2 additional supers, couldn't do the raid, never had an exotic drop despite killing thousands of enemies. I'm angry and disappointed beyond belief as Bungie markets D2 as "play how you want; solo, multiplayer co-op...". So anyway Black Armory arrives, I'm playing through the mission to unlock your first weapon, got my first exotic drop since finishing the Forsaken campaign, and what do I get, probably my 50th duplicate of 'Hallowfire Heart' that I've received since D2 started. No new Forsaken or Black Armory exotic, no just a crappy exotic from the vanilla game. So I swallow my fuming anger and continue with the mission and then that turns into a fireteam activity at a light/power level miles above mine so again I'm locked out of this. I'm player who been around since D1 where solo/casual players where constantly being shat on by Bungie and since then your team seems to have turned screwing over us into almost an art form. I'm tired of paying good money to Bungie for content I'm locked out of. So now watch the trolls attack as when a solo player voices their concern the fireteam players/trolls think they have a God given right to tell us we don't belong in this game etc. etc.

1 RespuestaEditado por bobafett906: 12/6/2018 3:36:16 AMAll Bungo had to do was be specific. End game content. WTF does that even mean? End game for the first season or what? Probably not the same to everyone. Just be honest, tell the community, but that would have cost them $$, so they tried to sneak it in. The last raid was "end game content" and you didn't need to be 600 to do it. The first raid was "end game content" at the time, didn't require max LL. They tried to be slick, got caught and now they are getting their PeePee spanked. Next time be honest with the community

11 RespuestasEditado por jcald--: 12/6/2018 5:59:27 PMIt is an endgame add-on. That's not bs, that's exactly what they told us.

Editado por Laughingman815: 12/6/2018 5:51:03 PMHuge screw up on Bungies part for this. With multiple characters at level cap of Foresaken and having paid for the content, I excepted to be able to experience the content. Sure the latter forges could be a level spike but we'd still have the first forge to run. Dropping the level for the first is almost mandatory at this point with engagement on the decline to the point Activision is acknowledging it. Players NEED the taste for what they paid for... Not window shopping of those few who have the time to get the grind in. The expansion dropped on my days off and I didn't get to enjoy it let alone properly optimize leveling in order to enjoy it. They released the forge, which gimped the blind well. The number 1 power level location for optimizing milestone level gains. Was hoping to level and sink some time in before Jan 29th... not because the Last Word, but because Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming out. If I cant engage Black Armory by then what the point of getting hyped?!? Kingdom Hearts 3 > grinding for content in a stagnating environment. If we didn't get the taste for what we paid for on this expansion why do it again for the others?

Bungle needs to be reminded that most of their money comes from casual players. If we go they’re finished.
-
This game is dedicated to those who invest long hours. There are worthy activities for casual players, but for a player like myself who plays maximum 5-6 hours a week, this is the beginning of the end of time put into Destiny. And there are so many other great games for solo players.
-
It's an end game add on bullshit. I'm feeling spiteful.
-
14 Respuestasit IS an end game add on you down. wtf do u not even look at what ur buying? casual salt is real cuz they are too stupid to use their eyes
-
Its ok sport. If this games too difficult for ya, try Marvels lego villians. I hear it has unlimited lives and revives with now power levels 👍
-
Your expectations where flawed considering they told you exactly wtf you were getting... A FEW...time. kept saying don't expect it to be like the traditional DLCs....plus...it's $10. Wasn't going to be -blam!-ing TTK for $10.

10 RespuestasEditado por the_finalfantasy: 12/5/2018 3:49:05 PMu get what u give, meaning the time u spend in the game will be equivalent to what u can get out of it. do u expect sumone who works 40hrs a week get paid more than those 40hrs? nope. so put in the overtime and get to grinding. u r hardly at 560 and its been 3 months. U GET WHAT U GIVE. sorry. no other way around it.
-
Someone's a 550. You couldn't start forsaken. 50 levels under the previous max light. Get over it.

1 RespuestaImagine how all us player who play the game actively felt getting to 600 in the first place and then be told, needs more grind. We've known for a long time all of us DLC's are money grabs thats why game from the 90's and early 2k's didnt have DLC's often, they released expansions which were essentailly a game entirely its own. If the game didnt make it, it didnt make it now its lets see how many times we can paint a piece of shit gold and see how many suckers buy it (not excluding myself here). Its a business first and a gaming community second, been that way since before the halo trilogy ended.

4 Respuestas"I may not have good points, but I know many people agree with me" That made me laugh but you absolutely do have a point. The content rollout seems terrible. I am constantly left in utter confusion when pondering the decisions behind this game. A normal rollout for the content of this smaller dlc should have looked something like the following. First Forge. Playable right away at power level, let's say, 580 recommended. Second Forge. Recommended power level 600. Third Forge. Recommended power 620. Forth Forge. Recommended power 640. Raid. Recommended power 640. Now this is the perspective of someone outside the situation. I don't own the Annual Pass and probably won't get it because of this exact type of thing. The progression systems in Destiny don't seem very well thought out. Sure, some of that is the expected "make players grind to ensure they continue playing" but a lot of it is stuff like this. Releasing a new dlc that no one can play without grinding old stuff outside the dlc... 😕. What are you talking about, Bungie? This is why I can't buy another Destiny game if (when) it comes out in 2020. I hope they don't announce Destiny 3 for 2020 but I know they will. That announcement will prove, once and for all, that they haven't changed. They haven't put any more thought, or time, or effort into Destiny 3 than they did for Destiny 2 and we've seen how that turned out. It took a year for them to get back to the mess that was Destiny year one. Look at the patterns here. Old content is still left behind. Leviathan only drops gear up to 500. Escalation Protocol still gives you armor with no perks. The vendors are all but forgotten. Bungie still renders more and more content worthless with each dlc so that the game never grows. Despite the countless requests they got during Destiny 1 PvE and PvP are still balanced together leading to the same nerf tug o war situation and animosity between the two groups of players we saw in the previous game. The power climb has only gotten less smooth and enjoyable since the first game. They still force you to play content you aren't interested in. It's the same. Everything is the same. They will not improve the game because they haven't learned from their mistakes or even think that they have made any mistakes. Aaaaaanyway, so how was everyone's weekend?
-
Yeah the grind is repetitive but I still need exotics. With thought you can stock pile clan bounty’s, ascendant challenge and well, 8 city bounties, 7 other bounties o each character and you instantly have 5 powerful drops without doing anything per character. So least favourite first then milestones, transfer guns to next one, rinse repeat and final character all of the above and then 4 clan engrams and should have 1 610 - 615 for next week.
-
4 RespuestasIt’s not that difficult to rise 15 points in power before the end of the week. Just do all the milestones and you’ll be able to clear it much easier.
-
3 RespuestasOn no! This game has a ton of content you can work towards.

Editado por AubsTheBelieber: 12/5/2018 10:33:47 PMIt’s reasonable for you to be upset. When even the nightfall is 540 you are being punished for not predicting the future. Bungie should have communicated 2+ weeks prior you needed to increase your powerlevel to play what you paid for.
Bungie is always making everyone mad because they can’t properly communicate.
