They should just add legit matchmaking with a restriction on use. Must be X power above recommend to matchmake. Also a bite to kick function in case someone is a clown. No reason it shouldn’t already exist.

Because there's no way to monitor any chat and communication. Also what if you have two clown.. Then you all need to turn off your consoles or completely close your game just to find more people..

Editado por RoninPhoenix650: 12/2/2018 7:10:24 AMFirstly, yes chat can be monitored either by bungie if In game or Xbox if on live. Secondly. A vote kick system wouldn’t require five votes, just a majority. Lastly, the rare times that multiple people decide to troll at once is not a reason to not have a basic feature. If enough people are trolling to prevent kicks then remake the group. Big deal.
-
Alright, but still if someone wants to use a 3rd part chat it's already off the table. People who actually can raid usually use discord or the party apps on their xbox or PlayStation ruling out any monetization of chat.. Also anyone who can raid will still set up teams before entering and it's just going to be full of noobs who haven't completed it, don't know how to complete it, or don't understand what a raid is thinking it's just a big mission and not an endgame activity.
-
Ok that not even true. Most people actually use console party chat. At least on Xbox. Also, what does chat matter at all? Who cares how people talk. This whole idea of “it would just be noobs” is also just stupid. You have no evidence to support that claim. Meanwhile every other game has it and it works just fine. You don’t want to use it that’s fine, then you go spend hours making sure you and your friends all get on at the same time and have the same time to complete them go do it that way. Nobody said you had to matchmake. Matchmaking should be in the game, no excuses.
-
Editado por FatBabyDragon: 12/2/2018 7:20:24 AMBut the xbox party chat is still 3rd party, bungie can only monitor chat that is being processed by the game itself. Which lags the game. And I'm not saying not to put it in the game, go ahead by all means. I'm just saying it's not going to be worth your time. Also just set up an lfg and check their Raid stats... done in like an hour and a half at most..
-
Again, it’s entirely irrelevant how they talk to each other. You make no sense. I said I like apples and you started talking about tires. It does not matter if bungie can monitor chat because the votes come from players
-
True, I guess you have a point there. But you don't need to be an ass about it
-
Apparently I do because for some reason people keep trying to fight the idea of matchmaking and there is literally zero reason to do so. It is absurd that something every online game has had figured out for years upon years now is being resisted.
-
Because there is matchmaking, just because it's called something else like "guided games" doesnt mean it doesn't exist. What you're describing is guided games.
-
No, it isn’t at all. Guided games is to matchmaking what Pinterest is to art. Guided games was bungies way of trying to get solo players into clans. It’s a dating site for clans. The entire goal was to eliminate solo players. It was never to facilitate getting things done.
-
Yes then what difference is your idea?? Everyone can match up solo?? Even if the chances are very slim that more than 2 players are just trolling, there's still a chance and you still have to go around the issue by turning off your console or completely closing the game, and what if the game punishes you for leaving like in comp? While the current lfg system is safer for everyone so you don't need to make a commitment just in case your entire team doesn't understand what DPS means. Also just look up someone's raid stats.... in out in 40 to 60 minutes. Quick and painless. And to be perfectly honest, I think bungie should implement matchmaking into raids, because there is a slim chance atleast 3 people know what they're doing. I just won't be using it, because there are much more safer, and quick ways to set up a raid team.
-
What are you even talking about. Turning off consoles? How high are you right now? You act like it’s some foreign concept. Like we don’t already have this system with strikes. The bottom line is is that you have no actual reason to be resisting such an obvious improvement except for the sake of doing so.
-
So there would be no commitment system? People will be be able to leave and join as they please?
-
Editado por RoninPhoenix650: 12/2/2018 3:38:14 PMHave you not ever played any game other than this one? How is this so foreign to you? I mean, it already works that way with what little matchmaking we do have for things like strikes.
-
So no commitment?? Everything is at the hands of where the game putts you? What if you want to run fresh?? And you keep getting placed halfway through the raid??
-
I am beginning to think you’re not rolling and are legitimately new to the gaming industry as a whole. There are a multitude of ways to make this work. Including the most obvious of course, which is that nothing stops you from getting your friends together to do the raid with a premade.
-
Assuming makes an ass out of you and me. I've said this before, I think bungie should implement matchmaking into their raids. It just needs to be better than just join in whenever and leave whenever when some people need to do the raids fresh.
-
It’s not an assumption, it’s a logical hypothesis based on the evidence. The questions you are asking are literally elementary. Its like you asking what cars do. “So you’re saying they can go forward AND backwards?”.
-
Yes, but the questions still need to be answered. I'm trying to make a system that could help everyone and you keep calling me an idiot about it. I'm on your side, I want a better way to get into raids. I'm just trying to fill any problems that may come with matchmaking in this kind of activity.
-
The questions have been answered repeatedly. Would you like to discuss how water is wet next?
-
I'm still missing answers to these questions 1) In your perfect matchmaking, is there a commitment to players who join? Can they only leave via vote like guided games or can they leave whenever they want? 2) If there is no commitment, does the game just shuffle in players after they another player leaves? And 3) would the game only match you with players at the same point you are at in the raid?
-
You’re done speaking now. Go to the corner.
-
I'm just trying to help
-
“What if? What if? What if?” If we get Matchmaking and you’re still crippled by the anxiety of all the possibilities of how it wouldn’t be perfect *then don’t use it* . I for one would take matchmaking just about any way I could get it. It could/would be optional, Damn.
-
Editado por FatBabyDragon: 12/2/2018 3:51:27 PMYeah, and I said I'm fine with them implementing matchmaking, I'm just trying to come up with ideas to make it better. What if questions are how ideas are made and solutions are found. There is a way to implement matchmaking into raids, but having it like a strike where someone could join at the last second may not be the best way to implement someone who wants to do it fresh may not be the best way around it.
