Please Prevent Low Level players from Competitive
It's extremely irritating loading into a game of comp and being stuck with a lvl 13 and they get 4-6 kills the entire match of survival. Why are they even allowed to go into competitive in the first place?
I somewhat understand lvl 20 and lvl 30 for ppl that don't own the current content, but I mean come on, it's not a competitive experiemce for them, their teammates, OR their opponents and the ppl that literally just loaded up the game a few hours ago shouldn't be able to jump into competitive.
The fact that they don't even have a single full subclass tree unlocked should prevent them from entry alone.

Its because of the stupid quest when you are leveling to complete few competitive matches. They should really remove it because it is making the rest of us frustrated beyond belief.

You’re going to run into low levels in guardian and brave ranks. Once you hit legend rank, you’ll rarely see them.

11 RespuestasI'm level 20 and don't own any DLC at the moment. I do feel out-geared, and I do feel out-supered, but I definitely don't feel out skilled. All of the "Round" based game modes are extremely fun to play, and Competitive is the only place to play them. I also don't mind getting stomped playing solo in these modes, because they are FUN. Team up or quit sweating, it's not that serious.

I’m level 50 in D2, I played D1 for 2500hrs, I’m crap at pvp, I’ve seen low level or new players top the table before. What does this do for your request?

Yeah I feel ya. Played a match yesterday with a lv 6 that was probably the same age as the level. He got 1 kill the entire survival match, and was cursing up a storm as well as dropping the N bomb in his annoying squeaky voice. Very sad indeed.

3 RespuestasFunny that your post gets downvoted to hell. The upper 30% is fighting really hard to retain a curb-stomping system that Bungie has WILLINGLY allowed to persist. Low player counts will fix the situation. Stop playing crucible. Only way to get their attention; but be assured, if you stop playing, they WILL need to change their approach to PVP.

2 RespuestasI think if you loaded into competitive with a fireteam, you could prevent this issue yourself. Also, a lvl 50 can, has and will do worse than a lvl 4. Just sayin.

8 RespuestasYou just don't get it. Or read most matchmaking post on this forum. If you did, you would see that most low levels want a chance to compete, to contribute to the team they are a part of. With QP being a pub-stomping free for all, most posts here are about how matchmaking works. Those low level players want more skill based matchmaking, most high levels in QP want to pub-stomp. Whenever these posts show up, arguments get going, for and against SBMM, and in most of those arguments, the good players SEND THE LOWS TO COMP SAYING IT HAS SBMM. The lows, hoping for a playlist that pits them against like levels/skilled players, listen and you get what we have now. Do not blame Bungie for allowing them to play, blame the good players, that will say anything to keep QP a pub-stomp fest, for sending them to comp. The very fact, that those lows head to comp, hoping for even matches, should tell Bungie that there needs to be some consideration of skill in the QP playlist.

He only got after 5 rounds of survival, 1 kill for sure, and then maybe 1-2 assists (3 opponents defeated) if I recall correctly . Meanwhile I think I had 20 or more kills after that match. There should definitely be a level cap for this, and also they should not be giving low levels like this quests to go into competitive.
