Two dashes, and a rift? Bit op don’t ya think.
Hunter dodge is a class ability and you give up n Exotic armor slot to use it.
Hunter dodge has a longer cooldown and barely covers no distance lol.
Overall warlocks have it good. Most of the warlock Exotics are beneficial and not gimmick based like hunter exotics. And your returning exotics tend to keep most of their old perks from Destiny 1 which makes them pretty good. Most returning hunter exotics are nothing like their Destiny 1 counterpart.

So warlocks dont get an exotic to give them a double dash because we have a rift ability? I dont see your logic.

You get a dash as skill with a shorter cool down. 25secs roll vs 6secs dashes. And you keep your rift which can give you more damage or more health. On top of that you can run an exotic. In destiny 1 hunters had 2 dodges just from using that skill on night stalker and all it did was dodge lmao no extra crap. Then the nerfed the cooldown to what it is now. And took away a dodge you have to buy a whole expansion to even get the exotic meanwhile your perk came with the base game. Honestly warlocks shouldn’t even have the dash. It shouldve stayed on the Titan Chest piece from D1 (Twilight Garrison). Seeing a warlock guy ask for more is a bit crazy as they already cater to warlocks quite heavily.

You must be trolling. Without nova warp warlocks dont have 1 thing that is on the level of blade barrage with shards of galanor, spectral blades with gwisen vest or titans with one eyed mask or ursa furiosa. Having an exotic that gives us a double icarus dash isn't even a big ask at all. Its like you putting on an exitic that gives you a double melee or double grenade. None of that is op so what the heck makes you think this is. Anyway I retitled the post because the mention of a hunter double dodge vest seems to have triggered the hunters into thinking asking for a double icarus dash exotic is somehow op when in no way at all is it.

Two Counter points here, OEM you need to KILL to start the good bonuses. and Ursa is much easier to counter than either hunter one. . All they need to do its buff it in PvE and we are golden.

Uh, just fyi, your comparison logic needs work. Nova warp by itself is extremely powerful, with the ability to consistently team wipe. Compared to Blade Barrage needing Galanor to be a bit more competitive. Great for oh shit moments and against other supers, but no where near team wipe potential as Nova Warp. Spectral Blades needed Gwinsin Vest to be even remotely competitive, given its issues. Only with recent patch was it made better, but then Gwinsin is getting a nerf. And as of latest patch Titan's Ursa has been pretty badly nerfed to be used in a comparison like this.

I play a heap of pve too. Also there is a strong case for it in pve cos what problem would you have with a warlock having to equip an exotic to get one more dash in pve? Its no where near as strong as something like shards of galanor or even crown of tempests.
